There's plenty of 88 rifles but far fewer bolts. I have a whole box of bolt-less rifles (10/$150) but was only able to find three bolts so far with two heads, and those were from trades of other parts. I had to trade a French MAS-36 rifle for one complete restored bolt!

Numrich, e-gunparts.com, had some bolts in the fall they were selling at $80 a pop and those sold out quickly.

It's a mystery where all the bolts/boltheads went. Rumor is they were stored seperately and sold for scrap metal.

If you do find bolts, let me know asap. There may be a French rifle in it for you (I got a bunch of those too!)

You will have a lot of trouble finding any. Centfire Systems and another company brought in a ton of Comission 88's without bolts heads and sold them around $20. Shortly after, Numrich was completely out of bolt heads and various other pieces.

At this point, I would suggest watching auction sites. It's anyones guess whether numrich will get more bolt heads or not.
