Does your cat do strange things?
Not only does Gizmo have a strange obsession with moss, which he is contstantly bringing indoors as a 'present' for me, and stealing washing up sponges (I have no idea where he puts them, despite extensive searching!), but today he was sitting by the side of the fish pond, head down licking the ice just like it was an ice-lolly, it was probably fish flavoured! Do your cats do any strange things?
Thank you for all your answers x

Once one of mine brought in a whole side of salmon.
I never did find out who went without their supper that night!

My cat Felix uses his paw to eat out of the tin the same as the one on the 'Arthur' advert & he also prefers to drink the water out of my bamboo shoots pot rather than his own bowl.
A few years ago I had a Siamese cat who used the toilet if he couldn't get out of the house & also ate all manner of non cat food, his opinion seemed to be if it was good enough for me he would try it. He also brought home a filleted fish & half a defrosted chicken - I also have no idea who went without their dinner lol

This morning my mother text me to say the cat stole her mouth guard later she found it behind the fridge i thought that was rather bizarre i guess they must have carried it like a dog would.
They steal pens from by the phone too and 'burry them' under the mats with various other objects you end up with a lumpy mat with goodness knows what underneath it!

Yep, he HATES the dvd player and attacks it when someone turns it on, he brings home twigs, he falls asleep on top of dirty clothes when we leave them next to the washing machine and he sounds funny when he mews because he was a rescue cat who had cat flu as a kitten!

Oh costly - adverse lizard :-( we've been saved via cats for over 30 years now - we had one chap that liked the cob (after the corn have been eaten off it!). yet another does not leave us on my own till he had had HIS slice of pizza (he favored it with mushrooms & anchovies). We had 2 cats that liked tomato sauce (inspite of the actuality that additionally they loved Pilchards in tomato sauce so possibly that became into basically a omit liking!) Of our modern-day cats, in case you leave something on your plate for them one will pass straight away for the veg (she prefers peas & courgettes yet is likewise prepared on sweetcorn). the different is going for the mash & onions. Oh - and of there is any meat left they gets around to that finally!

Yes, my cats do strange things. I could actually write an entire novel about all of their funny little eccentricities and habits.
I had one beautiful orange tabby, Ingemar, who would steal baby bottle nipples and bat them around the house. He loved carrying them in his mouth and would make this funny, high-pitched meow while walking around with them. I think he found them in the dish drainer next to the sink.
My long haired black and white, Sandro, loved jumping inside of the colander while I was preparing dinner. I have never particularly enjoyed cat hairs in my salad, though. He also loved to play with my hair while I was sleeping when he was a baby. I woke up many mornings with a bouffant mess on top of my head.
I had a very sweet cat, Thaddeus, who was taken from his mother too early and loved "nursing" on his arm. He would cuddle next to me, nurse his arm, and knead with his paws.
We kept our budgies in a huge aviary. A constant source of entertainment for the cats. I heard a loud commotion one day and after investigating found my little black fluffball, Giulietta, attached to the side, climbing, like Cat Kong. Poor, frightened little birds. Eeks!
My cat, Tabi, has the whiniest meow. She sounds like the saddest complaining baby. When she cuddles she head butts us, hard.
The strangest things that I have seen are definitely from my cat, Gigi, who has special needs. She has Feline Cerebellar Hypoplasia, which is similar to a human's Cerebal Palsy. I don't want to make fun of her problems, because it can be very sad, she does very well despite her issues and challenges, though. She is super clumsy, tips or falls over easily, can fall down the stairs, has to claw her way up onto things, including my bed, and has a wiggly, odd gait. She chirps and "talks" constantly. We have conversations all of the time. These are just her characteristics. She is a super love bug on top of it. One silly thing that she likes to do is attack my cut floral arrangements. She climbs up onto a chair, put her paws on the table, then chews and pulls my flowers. Roses are her favorite.
I can go on and on about my feline friends. I think their strange things are incredibly cute.

Yes, in the middle of every night she puts on two pairs of
hob-nail boots and does a clog dance on my tummy till I get up and feed her.
Can any body tell me where I can buy two pair of soft slippers for her to wear instead
If that doesn't work she head butts me until I DO give in

One plays with the springy door stop (just started after 14 years). She also tells us off if we argue so acts like a mediator. The other eats ribbon so I have to always hide the ribbon from her.

Yes, cats here in the Philippines always did. Like our cat. It always eat any food anywhere it goes and sometimes, even though the food is not for it, it eats. How crazy is that cat?,..
