    In a word - NO.

Some believe it is just the way the brain processes out excess information that it doesn't have time to deal with while awake.

Some believe that it has more to do with symbolism, representation, than it does as a direct relationship to your "awake" life. There are dream dictionaries that give an interpretation of those symbols. Like being in a prison doesn't mean you will go to prison, only that you are feeling restricted somewhere in your life.

Some others believe that it is just your imagination having a free reign, which is why many dreams are impossible in reality.

Very few people actually have predictive dreams. And sometimes they are predictive only to the extent that the person themselves makes it happen by being open to the possibility in the first place.

    depends

if you are dreaming of you walking through a sunset with a guy you love then yes

but, if you are being raped and then shot

i am pretty sure you don't want that so no

its all about what it is

thats the reason we call bad dreams nightmares

a dream is where you mind just wonders and lets go and everything and just pulls random memories out of your well, memory and then slams them together and bam you get a dream

thats why anything is possible in a dream

because you mind is doing the impossible seeing into the future.

I believe dreams are your subconscious' way of communicating with your conscious.. I.E. the dream is like a window, if you will, into your subconscious.

    "ALL you NEED is LOVE!"

    The B E A T L E S!

    Vincent Reagan

    "Hawkeye!"

    :)

I think some dreams are things that are hoped for. I also believe dreams are the way we tap into our subconscious. There are things we repress (unconscious effort) and suppress (conscious effort), and sometimes we just can't handle what's going on around us until we confront what's stowed inside.

Source(s): http://changingminds.org/explanations/behaviors/co... http://www.crosscreekcounseling.com/defense_mech.h... thought suppression: making a conscious effort to avoid a particular thought requires one to: * plan to supress a thought * carry out that plan by suppressing all manifestations of the thought, including the original plan taken from http://www.alleydog.com/cognotes/consc.html

Sometimes, but not all the time. Like last night, I had a dream I had a kid, and it was already an alcoholic and snorting cocaine at only 6 months of age. I dont wish that were real... would you?!

NO! If dreams were what the subconcious mind wishes to be real, then how come so many people have nightmares?

I strongly believe that dreams can be your subconcious trying to get messages throught to the conscious. Recurring dreams mean that you have not got the message yet! and the subconcious keeps trying to get through to the conscious self.

You continuously think of of intercourse, for the reason which you have a one song concepts. Why do you may desire to dream approximately some thing you think of roughly lots? desires are random, you do no longer in simple terms p.c.. and chosen what your desires are, till you study a thank you to do Lucid dreaming.
