yes you are. eating too few calories actually makes it harder to lose weight.

BUT being 5' 7", your healthy weight should be 135 , 5 pounds over or under, so between 130-140. It's 5 pounds per inch over 5 feet for women. you don't need to lose weight, you're fine.

if you lost 20 pounds, you would look gross. you are at a perfect healthy weight, and I'm sure you look great. maybe you should talk to someone about self image or think about the reasons you want to lose that much weight.

Your basal metabolic rate is the number of calories you would burn in one day without any kind of movement at all

A basic online BMR calculator told me that yours is 1442 calories. This is what you should be eating minimum every day and exercising for any weight loss

Well your calorie intake depends on your age and your activity level.

    http://www.my-calorie-counter.com/Calorie_Calculat...

    Calculate you BMR here.

Your calorie intake sounds a little low to me,and honestly if you are 5'7" and 110lbs you would look sickly.130 is a great weight for you height! Maybe 120lbs if you really want to weigh less, but 110lbs will make you unhealthy and really skinny.

You're actually a healthy weight. Also, if you eat too few calories, you will slow down your metabolism and not lose weight. However, you don't need to lose weight. You are healthy now.

my dietician says if you eat less than 1000 calories per day, you can LOSE HAIR!!! (and that was for someone in their 30's....) You're awfully young and don't sound overweight. I think you should consult a nutrition specialist.

If you don't eat enough your body can go into "Starvation" mode and it will actually STORE your bodies fat.

Eat 5 small meals a day and NEVER skip breakfast.

generally it's reasonably good enough if you don't exercise alot. but everybody is different. what about all the other factors besides calories though?
