why am i so tired?

For the past week or so I've been having trouble stying awake during the day. I get roughly between 7 and 8 hours sleep a night, eat plenty of fresh fruits and veggies, am relatively healthy and am quite active. Apart from the tiredness I feel ok within myself. I don't think it's due to low sugar or a lack of iron. Does anyone have any idea what this could be? Maybe a lack of other vitamins? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Update:

I dont think its pegnancy as I only came off the depo shot 3 months ago and was told that it will take at least 6 months to get out of my system...

Update 2:

Thanks for all of your answers... MOST of which were sensible!

I think its gotta be a lack of some vitamins... i know its not a growth spurt... or at least i hope it isnt lol... would be a little late if it were!

interesting....could be a lot of things. It's almost like having the check engine light on in your car.

I would say maybe you're too active, stressed, depressed, getting sick, pregnant, or you could be missing vitamins. Try taking a multi-vitamin and see if that helps.

One other thing, depending on your age, you might be hitting a growth spurt. Those tend to make people tired as well because your body is hard at work even when it's not noticeable to you.

you need to chew on some thick, juicy meat to tire you out. i guess the size doesn't matter, but as a rule, the thicker, the better. nothing wears you out like puttin a nice big chunk of fresh meat in ur mouth. the protien will help ur body rest while you sleep too because your little enzymes aren't runnin all over the place wondering where the protien for them to digest is. also, get some protien cream and splash it on your face. the more, the merrier.

An average person should get roughly 9-10 hours of sleep a night. See if you can slip in another hour :)

other then that I'm not sure. Maybe you should ask your doctor.

If you masturbate or related stuffs, then stop doing that.. try to get a full 6-8 hrs of sleep and do YOGA. You'll feel energetic.
