got pulled over by a cop....?
i got pulled over by a cop cause my registration tags (long story). the cop gave me a ticket and called the tow guy to get it towed. that's fine cause i heard that''s what they do. but when i got out of my truck, he started searching my entire truck. like a had a handbag in the back and he even went through that. what's more, he told me to call someone to pick me up in the middle of nowhere. i'm a young girl and got pulled over in a kinda ghetto neighborhood at night. isn't it procedure to drop me off at the station or something? can i do something about it?
well i was on the freeway and the neighborhood that i exited on happened to be a bad part of town
and d r, now that i think about it- cops are there to enforce the law but are also there to protect the people. i mean, if something were to have happened to me, wouldn't it be his fault for leaving me there in the middle of the night?

Officers are not responsible or obligated to drop you off anywhere. They are there to enforce the law. Since driving is a privilege and you violated the law they have the right to search the vehicle and items within. The biggest lesson is to ensure your vehicle is up to date in its registration and license. One question is if the neighborhood you were driving through was bad, why were you there?
