I'm making corned beef and cabbage for dinner, and halfway through cooking I realized I dropped the entire packet of seasoning in there with the brisket! It's been cooking for 2 hours now. Are all the bad chemicals released from the plastic packet? Do I have to throw away my 3lbs brisket??

Ok, I know I have bug phobia. I don't even like butterflies or ladybugs. I can deal with ants if there aren't that many of them. I haven't always been that way. I remember playing with rollie pollies and worms when I was young. So I don't know when I started getting freaked out. But I didn't think it was THAT bad since I don't freak out when I see pictures of bugs.

But last night, I was in the shower and happened to look up and saw a huge palmetto roach above me and I totally freaked and jumped out of the shower. I was yelling for my boyfriend and was crying I was so scared. And it just weirds me out that I was crying because of it. I haven't cried from fear since I was a child and it really got me thinking. I realized my phobia is worse than I imagined and would like to somehow get over it. I've read that I should get closer to bugs (I can do that if they're enclosed) or have them on me. But I refuse to do that. Is there any other way?

In the Fruit of the Loom commercials, there is a guy dressed as an apple, green grapes, and purple grapes. But there is also that one guy dressed in a weird shaggy orange suit. Looks like withered orange grapes. What fruit is he supposed to be?

I love my boyfriend to death. And when I first started dating him, his sense of style was different from most guys I knew but I just figured it was cause he was from a different state. I didn't mind it too much. But as the years passed, the way he has started to dress makes me literally cringe inside.

For example, he would wear a shirt that has a lot going on everywhere with plaid shorts. And most if his shirts are one size too big for him. Or like when he found a shirt he really liked when we were shopping. It was a striped shirt with a lightning bolt on the middle and there was messy scribbles in the lightning. There was just too much going on and should've been banned or something.

I've tried everything. "i think this other shirt flatters you better baby" or "That shirt makes you look kinda scrawny cause it's so big. why don't you wear this shirt instead, it shows off your pecs." or "that's way too much cream in your outfit, why don't you change to jeans instead of khakis?" sometimes he listens but sometimes he actually thinks he looks good and seems like he doesn't trust my style. He's a good looking guy with a nice body. It's just his clothes that drives me crazy.

I hate being like a mom but it's kind of embarrassing. But I take pride in looking good when I step out the door. I believe your clothes tell others what kind of person you are. His just tells everyone that he has no clue. He wears colors and patterns that clash. Am I being too superficial? Should I just get over it? Or what other nice ways are there to improve one's style?

Is it just me or is Liz from Tough Love 2 the most annoying girl on that show? The way she talks is super annoying and she is but t ugly. I know this is superficial but I can't stand the way she styles her hair:

let's say you're dating a super hot guy/girl. then you find an old picture of them and not only do they look ugly but nothing like what they look like now because of plastic surgery, how would you feel? wouldn't you feel like you were cheated? or wouldn't you be slightly turned off? i can't really explain why but i would find that unattractive. maybe cause the fact that their lack of self confidance drove them to go under the knife repeatedly... how would you guys feel?

i'm not just talking about a simple nose job. i'm talking "you wouldn't even recognize" plastic surgery.

i used to like eating cream cheese or peanut butter by the spoonful. i used to know a girl that ate mayo with a spoon- gross.

i don't know why everyone is hating on megan for being so fake. i mean think about it- you're on a show to win $250,000 and if being fake and betraying people gets her there than not, wouldn't you? it's not like she's there to make friends. and the friends she has on there (brandi c and whiteboy) she has their backs. but eventually at the end i'm sure they have to stab each other in the back at some point. i just don't get how much people are hating on her for playing the game. if she didn't play it that way she wouldn't be on the show anymore and her goal is obviously to stay and win.

...i'm not talking about the typical things like monsters under your bed or a fear of the dark.

when i was younger, i was deathly afraid of waking up one day to find that my entire family had moved away with all the furniture and left me there on the floor.

or i was afraid of everyone, the entire human population including my parents, turning into zombies but me.

i got pulled over by a cop cause my registration tags (long story). the cop gave me a ticket and called the tow guy to get it towed. that's fine cause i heard that''s what they do. but when i got out of my truck, he started searching my entire truck. like a had a handbag in the back and he even went through that. what's more, he told me to call someone to pick me up in the middle of nowhere. i'm a young girl and got pulled over in a kinda ghetto neighborhood at night. isn't it procedure to drop me off at the station or something? can i do something about it?
