Is South Carolina just too stupid to be affected by "Global Warming?"?

http://scienceandpublicpolicy.org/originals/no_cli...

Excerpts:

"Averaged across the state of North Carolina, there has been no long-term trend in the state’s annual temperature history since 1895, the year when well-compiled temperature records first become available from the National Climatic Data Center (located in Asheville)."

"Likewise, if you examine North Carolina’s statewide temperature history within the four seasons, you again find no evidence of any unusual climate changes occurring throughout any portion of the year."

"Averaged across the state of North Carolina for each of the past 113 years, statewide annual total precipitation exhibits no long-term trend, averaging just under 50 inches per year."

"The number of hurricanes impacting North Carolina during the last 10-year period, 1998-2007, was similar to periods in the first half of the 20th century. "

---

Don't they realize we're all doomed? How dare they behave as if it's "no problem?"

Update:

Dana : So it's "Global Warming - except some parts of the Globe aren't."

Is that like being a "little bit pregnant?"

Update 2:

Oh yeah - I guess Antarctica is also "too stupid" or just a big ol' chunk of of "except."

    Obviously they are.

Just kidding. It's called global warming, not North Carolina warming for a reason. Some regions experience more significant warming than others. The planet as a whole continues to warm. That's just how it works.

"Is that like being a "little bit pregnant?"

    No, it's not.

instead of screaming at each other ( Man made global warming is or it is not happening) why not find ways to keep the earth clean for future generations( less wrapping, more natural food/ energy) teach people to bring home and recycle the crap from fast food joints / diapers that they leave on the beach/throw out of cars/boats .Teach kids/adults that if you see a mess and can clean it up then do it,forget that its not your mess and stop whining that the government should do something about it .The idea that paying another country credits so that you can spew your carbon crap in the air while they who are less industrialised or have no idea what they are spewing as they keep no records or lie about it is bogus. keep the money and use it to improve your own process then go to countries that have poor standards and help them improve theirs. 300 years ago there were nations/ continents that did not know that others existed much less what the weather was like there. It was arogent ignorance that kept the world flat for so long and it is the same thing that causes people to shout that they are right and everyone else is wrong on global warming no matter what side they are on. A closed stuborn mind that riducules others is always wrong.

He would desire to be impeached in the present day. He became into probable the two on a eating binge or shacked up with some bimbo. perhaps he became into doing the two on the comparable time. i'm uninterested in incompetent adult men working the country into the floor. i presumed issues have been getting extra advantageous considering we've been given rid of Bush/Cheney/Rove/ Blagovitch and Edwards.
