Can't get well even on antibiotics - what do I do?

I've been sick for more than two weeks now. Dr. put me on Cipro first - that didn't done anything. Then he gave me a Z-pack and still I'm sick. My boss sent me home from work today because of it. Below are my symptoms. I sure would appreciate any knowledgeable answers.

Symptoms:

Terrible cough (non-productive) I have been coughing so much that my rib cage feels like it's going to tear open every time I take a breath

Sinus infection

Fevers between 100 and 103 (goes down with Tylenol or Motrin but then shoots back up before they wear off)

Dizziness

Purple patchy skin as though my circulation is poor

Any clues as to what I might have? Sure would like to get well.

Thanks in advance for any answers you might have.

sounds like you need to get a second opinion from a different doctor

could be phnemonia, bronchitis, sinusitis - i really don't know

    do you have allergies?

Have you had a chest x=ray?

They really need to rule out pneumonia at this point. Neither of the meds given would be appropriate for pneumonia.
