trying to give up coffee in the am, due to stomache issues, am hooked, what will help me wake up?

I already take meds for heartburn/stomach, have heard apples or water might work, however-they don't on me, what can I drink in the morning that won't kill me, and still wake me up?? would try Coca Cola or Mt. Dew, but that's still caffeine wouldn't it do the same thing to me?

Try to get a regular amount of sleep each night, this helps your biological clock awake your body more regularly like when you were little. Also, have breakfast each morning to start your metabolism, this will help, and have an apple with breakfast each morning anyway. You need to develop a regular routine, our bodies are designed for it, but soooo many people don't stick to it. This is why babies go to sleep and wake up the same time every day, because Mom made our bodies regulate towards it. It will help you wake up easier and feel more normal. I don't advise switching to Coke because of the caffeine, and make sure you hydrate during the day with water. Stay healthy!

try eating an apple OR an orange if apples dont work. an orange is naturally more caffeinated than a 12 oz can of soda.

hi a bucket of freezing cold water should do the trick lol or try taking a cold shower that is also very affective.

just give it time....caffeine is addictive so your tired because you're used to it....after a while your body will get used to not having it
