Why wouldn't someone refuse to release papers if they had nothing to hide?

Question

The question of Hillary Clinton releasing her tax records brings up another more important question, why not? If you are trying to portray that your are being honest with the American people, why not prove it by your actions? 

Why did she hide the Rose Law firm records for 2 years? So they could be "cleaned up"?

Why won't she ask Bill to release documents about where the donations for the Clinton library came from? Among the entities who have been reported to have given more than $1 million toward the presidentical center: the governments of Dubai, Kuwait, and Qatar; the Saudi royal family; a deputy prime minister of Lebanon - how many donations they don't want us to know?

I understand that after Watergate presidential candidates have shown tax records as a show of honesty to the public.

She's already secretive, any advancement in her political status won't change that!
Her and Bill have been hiding the truth about their lives for years.  They'll never come clean and that's a fact.
Hopefully the American people wake up before they truly get the monster by the tail and let her have a chance at the White House!

Ah! consistent with risk Hill has been writing off the help money for Monica and invoice jr. and on an identical time as she did choose the tax write-off, she on no account concept the information could grow to be public know-how?

She has allot to hide! Mostly its her dollar value, it would destroy the image she has created with the poor and uneducated
