If legal where you live, it is very easy to alter the Saiga to accept double stack magazines. Take an exacto knife and a piece of poster board, and make a template of a double stack mag and center the template over the single stack mag well, trace it out and start removing little by little while fitting the new mag until you get a good fit. Do not take away too much material at a time. I have done quite a few single stack WASR rifles for my buddies. As far as drums for the SKS, I haven't seen any recently, just the standard detachable 30 and 40 rounders.

Not sure about the Saiga and AK mags. I still see the Romanian 75 round drums available but, never the Chinese version any more. The Chinese are way more reliable than the Soviet & Warsaw Pact versions, of which the Romanian is. I own two Chinese drums thank god and I will never part with them!

Clinton made an agreement with Russia for them to not import military type weapons, so the Siaga is an AK-47 base that has been modified to be a 'sporting' weapon. One of many changes made to the AK47 base weapon to turn it into a saiga is to alter the mag well so it can only accept SAIGA mags, not AK-47 mags.

As others have said, with a power grinder you can change it back.

You can get drums for the Saiga on http://www.rusmilitary.com./ I think you need to file the gun before using th AK drum and in some states the modification may be illegal so check first to see if it re-classifies your weapon.
