Honda Civic Radio problem. 10 points?

I have a 2008 Honda Civic. A few weeks ago the battery died after I left the lights on. I charged the battery and the radio wasn't working. Error Code 6 came up so I put in the 5 digit code that made the radio work. Now the radio is working but my sirius radio isnt working. (It is not even turning on). I am thinking the outlet must be broken?

help!

Update:

oh i forgot to add... the sirius radio works in other cars

Check the fuse for the outlet and see if it didnt short out

  • on some of the newer cars, this is done as an anti theft idea. what you need to do is contact the dealer and ask them for the code to get the radio to work again. remember this code, you will need it if the battery dies again, or when you go to replace the battery.

Look under your dashboard for your accessory socket fuse. It's rated at 10 amps. If it is open or burned, replace it with a spare fuse.

    Good luck!

  • CODE IS IN OWNERS MANUEL.....look through all the paperwork in your glove box if you didnt throw it away like me the dumbass when it happened to me....
