What is the significance of the parable of Jesus of Nazareth?

You know that one about the carpenter that never built anything except the cross he died on.

Update:

Alternate views of a story are not always an attempt to mock.

    For me?

    Absolutely no significance, whatsoever.

The bible is fairly silent as to the early years of Jesus. We know that around age 12, he was found teaching in the temple but other than that we suspect Jesus grew, had chores, worked and did like everyone else until His 30th birthday.

Joseph was a carpenter and Jesus probably helped him with many chores and He probably never had a hand building the cross He died on.

But good for us that He didn't stay dead. He overcame the grave and death to secure our salvation. What more can we ask of a Saviour?

Source(s): King James version of the bible.

The only significance I can see is your attempt to mock that which we hold precious ... and the obvious ignorance of your attempt.

Kinda like a Truck Driver that gets hit by a truck before he gets to drive one.

Or the person graduating law school as a lawyer and then going to jail before practicing any law..

    There's more. ;o>

Even though I don't think Jesus was the child of any deity, I think the world would be greatly improved if people actually paid attention to what he was saying, like "be nicer to each other."

It's a story that was written as a method to control the masses.

That one is not a parable, nor an actual fact.

  • For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.

Do you try to offend people in your day to day life? Don't you understand that by choosing less love you can only be harming yourself.
