Know Movies From 1940's MGM Studios??
I'm searching for the name of a MGM Studio movie from around 1947. It is NOT "The Three Musketeers" or "Hamlet" but had costumes similar to those types of movies. Something with swords?
Any ideas???
Appreciate the answers so far....Movie had to be released sometime after 1945... I've tried searching Netflix but without knowing any of the actors I haven't had any luck there. The long costume had crossed swords on the front with a background of yellow rectangles on blue.
Thanks for the link to MGM movies.... It must be "Caesar and Cleopatra" or "The Princess and The Pirate".
Thanks to all....

Hmmm.... This is a tough one to find.
MGM Movies from around 1947 that I found are:
Good News,
The Bishop's Wife,
Lady in the Lake,
Till the Clouds Roll by,
The Cat Concerto,
Green Dolphin Street,
Reunion in France,
Dark Passage,
Ziegfeld Follies,
Another Thin Man,
The Postman always rings twice,
Angel on my shoulder,
Luxury Liner,
The Pirate,
Proffesor Tom
Not sure whether any of these are even the right genre but I hope they help you!

That's a tough one. if you go to Netflix.com, they carry a lot of classis movies. Good luck with that one. Do you know any of the actors' names?
