Where is point Place, Wisconsin?
One for Wooly Booley. I've lived here all my life and never been there, except of course through the TV!
I thought I heard it was a made up city.

It is a fictional city. It is near Kenosha, Wis. It is a poor suburb that was once booming with factory work. It is where the TV series that 70's show is set. It just so happens that I really like that show because I can really relate to that era. All you have to to do is google it. Too bad it isn't a real place. Point Place sounds really romantic, it has a certain ring to it!!! I loved Laurie, she was my favorite!!!! I still watch the show on reruns!!!! I also loved Mrs. Foreman!!!!!

In regards to those who say the creators of "That 70's Show" (Bonnie & Terry Turner and Mark Brazill) chose Wisconsin to honor Kurtwood Smith are partially right. They chose the name of the town because Bonnie Turner is from Toledo, OH where there is a section of town along the waterfront named Point Place.

There is a real place called Pleasant Prarie, WI. It's in Kenosha County WI. Kurtwood Smith grew up in WI. I think they had Pleasant Prarie in mind when they wrote the show.

Where Eric Foreman lives.
It's the city in That 70s Show. I always assumed it was just made up.
