Do they ever mention that Spitzer is a Democrat? Have you ever seen an article in which a Republican caught in a sex scandal is not identified by his political party???

Regardless of whether or not a reference to Governor Spitzer's party affiliation appears within a given source is not really the issue. The issue to me is that this reference is not prominent -- perhaps it is alluded to, mentioned in passing, assumed, etc.
Many past similar reports involving members of other parties have frequently included prominent mentions of party affiliation, such as "Republican Governor ....," "GOP congressman ...," ".... R-XX" -- and this is often included in the source's title, not vaguely mentioned or revealed in passing.
Today, I watched a CNN video of Spitzer's resignation, which must have lasted a couple of minutes at least, and only for about 5 seconds did they place "D-NY" in the text portion at the bottom of the video.
They could have easily fit this in with the rest of his title and left it on the screen the entire time, as has frequently been done in the past with other such stories.

it fairly is not beside the point! it fairly is brutal how the Liberals call Republicans "the way of existence of corruption" then attempt to cover Democrat from any article. They do it each and all the time right here in ny! seem on the Liberal answer asserting beside the point! i'm so bored with this crap. All they do is attack corruption! Then they look after their very own. Republicans attacked Sen Craig and attempted to tension his resignation. Liberals are the worst hypocrites.

I thought everyone knew that he's a Democrat.
During Clinton's sex scandal, did they mention that he's a Democrat?

Of course not on the Clinton News Network. If he would have been a Republican, that would have been the first word and repeated often through the story. Total double standard.

Sorry - but Faux News had the word "Democrat" under the picture of Mark Foley for days and days each time they aired that story, so your premise is bogus.

The fact that he is a Dem. has been well documented in previous news articles - and believe me us NYers know it

MSNBC never said a word about his party affiliation either.
Media bias?

Yes I knew he was a Democrat from watching the news. Don't be an idiot, the news is pro Republican and you know it.
