So you Christians believe that any god but yours is Satan?

Well, that's rather rude.

"Our god is the only real one! Your god is just a trick of Satan! You've been tricked, hahahahaaa!"

Why is your belief more valid than theirs? Their god is just as real to them as yours is to you.

How do you know for sure your own Christian god isn't a trick? For all you know, Loki could have contacted Moses and all those guys who wrote the bible and fed them some story about Jehovah, then disguised himself as Jesus just to mess with you. Loki would do something like that. And you can't prove he didn't, can you?

Update:

If you can't understand where I got this idea, check out the recent question where someone asked why there are so many different gods being worshiped worldwide. Quite a few Christians answered "Because Satan controls this world" or something similar. I'm not saying every Christian believes this, but there are a lot who seem to.

Update 2:

So your faith is better than their faith? I don't get it. You have faith in your god... but they have faith in theirs. Why does your faith cancel out theirs?

Update 3:

preacherswife, I'm 21 years old and it's only 6:00. My, but you're rude. Does your husband's church know you act like that?

I am afraid no amount of answer can prove it to you because you really will not believe.

To us our Salvation is personal, and our life is our testimony and we firmly believe that our faith is not in vain. Peace to you...

Please don't generalize all Christians as believing the same thing. I am a Christian and I do not believe that the gods of other religions are Satan. I believe everyones beliefs are valid. Honestly, I believe that there is one god, but that he takes many shapes and that my God is just as real as anyone elses. I guess what I am trying to say is that we may not all have the same set of beliefs, but maybe in the end the fact that we believe in something is all that matters. Generalizations like your opening question are the cause of a lot of the misunderstandings between people.

Don't think anyone can say your religion is wrong because that would just offend others.

But. It does say in the bible that the kingdoms of the earth are lying in the power of the wicked one Satan. 1 John 5:19 We know we originate with God, but the whole world is lying in the [power of the] wicked one.

Or as it says in King James Version that 1 John 5:19 We know that we belong to God, but the Evil One controls the whole world.

And Jesus didn't state other wise when Satan offered him the kingdoms of the earth, Jesus didn't say ahh Satan but they aren't yours to give. He just said that it is written you should worship the one true God Jehovah.

Matthew 4:8-10 Again the Devil took him along to an unusually high mountain, and showed him all the kingdoms of the world and their glory, 9 and he said to him: “All these things I will give you if you fall down and do an act of worship to me.” 10 Then Jesus said to him: “Go away, Satan! For it is written, ‘It is Jehovah your God you must worship, and it is to him alone you must render sacred service.

And we see in Revelation 12:12 that satan has been thrown down to the earth. Revelation 12:12 On this account be glad, YOU heavens and YOU who reside in them! Woe for the earth and for the sea, because the Devil has come down to YOU, having great anger, knowing he has a short period of time.”

I am a Jehovah witness and our God is the same as everyone else's God, we just use his name as stated in Psalms 83:18 KJV Bible. That men may know that thou, whose name alone is JEHOVAH, art the most high over all the earth.

Even Muslims would agree that God is God, they just call him by a different name. And we all believe in Moses, and Jesus Christ. Hope this has helped.

Hmm. No. I never said that someone else's "god" was Satan; I just said that their "god" was Satanically inspired. As to how do I know my God (Christ) isn't a "trick", compare anything He said to anything all the other "gods" have "spoken", and it becomes apparent real quick who's the "trick" and who isn't. Besides, when did "loki" or "thor" or "zeus" ever speak a word of prophecy that actually happened? For that fact, when did any of them "speak" period? Have any of those "gods" had such far reaching influence and impact on ALL of humanity as has the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob? Besides all this, those "gods" you speak of were the constructs of the imaginations of ancient poets who readily acknowledged them as such.

No I don't believe that any god but the ONE TRUE LIVING GOD is Satan, because Satan is real. There are no other gods at all- Satan deceives people into thinking that are other gods. I know Christ , that is how I know God is real- "when we seek after God, we will find Him"

"You tell'em Sister," "Preach it Sister, Preach it", "Way to go girl, keep up the good work", "Amen",(A Lot of Them), there is a lot more but don't have room for them, Oh, By the way they were ALL behind me 100%.
