I am a mother of 4, homeschool mom, and happily married for 18 years. I love to cook, garden and travel. I believe in The Bible as a final rule of faith and practice. I love to meet people who diligently seeks the Truth and I would love to help them as the Lord help me,not for my own glory but for His Glory. If other believers here find my answers flawed ,please email me, I am open minded ,I welcome rebuke or corrections if you can give me scriptural support for your claim. I don't want any argument or debate because I am not comfortable with it.] My objective being here is to meet other people who loves the Lord and I am truly blessed seeing believers pleasing God rather than men.

  • To the Saints...?

I was inspired to post this question through personal experience and by a brother in Christ and about a topic of my quiet time yesterday with the Lord just before I knew about his problem.

My topic is about Jonah who tried to follow his own way and directly disobeyed God. Ended up in the belly of the whale, I suddenly realized how hard it is to be there, what Jonah must have done during those 3 days.

Question: Was there a point in your life wherein you can relate with Jonah's experience, have you consider yourself inside the belly of the whale once in your life? Have you ever thought it's the end but you were wrong and God was still there to deliver you out of that situation?

Please share your experience, it can be a blessing to us.

Can you tell from these two accounts how Satan twisted it?

Please explain the difference he made in the message?

Mathew 4: 5 Then the devil taketh him up into the holy city, and setteth him on a pinnacle of the temple,

v 6And saith unto him, If thou be the Son of God, cast thyself down: for it is written, He shall give his angels charge concerning thee: and in their hands they shall bear thee up, lest at any time thou dash thy foot against a stone.

    Psalm 91

11For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways.

12They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone.

  • To the elect of God, What was your first reaction?

When you were taught of this doctrine what is your initial reaction? Did you resist it at first?

Did somebody taught you this or you just learned it by yourself?

When I first learned it , it's like everything became clear to me unlike before I had many questions regarding assurance and the path to righteousness was cloudy to me then.

John 1:12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:

John 1:13 Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.

  • My fellow believers I have something to tell you.?

An old man told me, he saw something bright around me and protecting me. The old man said he practices witchcraft and I was shocked . He told me to not to be afraid of him because he can not touch me or harm me because he is afraid of that something he saw protecting me.

Has any of you experience this kind ? One of my brother in Christ told me the other week somebody told him the same thing but it was a different person and I have never told him about my experience and I am just speechless.

Could it be true that he saw something bright protecting me?
