MAC is the best ofcourse ... then the others :
i'll categorize them as i know from best 2 worse
level 1 : the best
Dell
Toshiba
HP
level 2 :
fujitsu siemens
level 3 :
MSI
ASUS
ACER
LG

I myself would prefer Dell. Besides being made of high quality components their displays are also fantastic.
VAIO (Sony) laptops are also nice but they are a bit more expensive than what they do really worth.
As a final suggestion I should remind you to check the guarantee and services of each company in your area.

Mac/Apple... Why? Can't get virus, GREAT help desk, FANTASTIC customer care. Overall just the best desktop/laptop I've ever owned.

What you mentioned are all good...I have Toshiba and it is working alright...I believe that no matter what laptop brand you have if it you dont know how to take care of it, then it wont matter anymore which brand that is!!!

well a mac is really good but there is not much programs for macs
hp i good
i have an aopen its good
it would be better if u look for good hard drives and really good cpu's
