Remember the good old days of recent. When King Kev said ' I would love to beat Man United '. Newcastle was 12 points clear at the top of the table, looking down at Man United. And they were plying their trade in the Champions League. They played some exquisite sexy football. The toon army just loved them.

Football is not all about lifting trophies. It's about exciting the fans and giving them what they wanted. And Newcastle gave as much as they could.... Those were the days I can remember...

I wasn't alive 50 years ago. Is that how long ago it was, im not quite sure. Maybe NUFC needs to stop talking about its history, its fan base and its stadium, and start to focus on their football, if they want to relive their glory days in the present.

Tones is right. Concentrate on the 'Here and now'.

Your negative fans cost your team points, lots of points.

    Two things.....

    1. Get behind tour team, whoever the manager is.

    2. "Defending" is not a swearword.
