Spiritually Speaking: Is it possible to simply share the beauty of the vernal equinox with my fellow R&Sers?

Spring just isn't springing yet, at least in my neck of the woods.

It's always nice here (Central Florida).

That's why we moved here from Connecticut.

I do not miss the winters there..............not one bit.

And there's a sudden smell of freshness in the air now.

Spring is well and truly sprung here in London, UK. It may be bloody cold, but the blossom and daffs tell the tale. And what a great equinox it has been.

I'd imagine it would be a better experience at the North Pole though. It's the first daylight there since the autumnal equinox.

6 months of night is now going to be 6 months of day.

    ((((hugs))))

Happy Vernal Equinox to you as well. Spring is unfolding slowly here now with the daffodils and forysthia in bloom but a fresh cool wind. I love the spring wind, there is something invigorating about it.

Not here either, dear Sips - in fact, they're forecasting another dumping of snow.

But if I want to drive downhill, I can see spring- or at least be warm.

Lovely vernal equinox to you too - the promise of green things and warmth soon to come.

The only sign of spring here is a thousand weeds coming

up in the yard. I can't see the vernal equinox, can you tell

    me where you put it?

It was beautiful about an hour south of Columbus for equinox but came home today to 6" of fresh white crap. At this rate you'll be thawed before we are.

Snowing and every branch and twig is coated with glistening ice! It doesn't look like spring, but it is beautiful. Happy vernal equinox, all! <*)))><

Here in Austin, the redbuds and bluebonnets are going berSERK! It's been Spring here for a few weeks. Which means I need to quit being so lazy and get my 4 o'clocks planted...

Remember what T. S. Eliot said about Spring, right: it 'sends the sap shooting.' :)

  • Happy spring everyone!!

The temp.'s not too bad here, about the mid 60's. And the pollen!! Everything in the yard is yellow!

Our weather is schizophrenic. We've been down to like 10 and up to 60 in the past month.

Spring will be very welcome when it finally gets here! I might become all twitterpated--I heard that often happens in spring.
