Do you remember the last time a Jehovah's Witness came to your house?
I haven't seen one in years! Seriously! Where are they?

I assure the preaching work is in full effect, occasionally some areas and neighborhoods are harder to reach. But in due time we will find a way to extend the preaching work to those areas. In some countries the work is banned, but even their we continue to be successful. My question is, Why is it that no one else in "Christianity" is preaching? I have NEVER had a Catholic knock on MY door....? Thats not a shot at them, but they are the biggest denomination. Jehovah's Witnesses are one the smallest denominations and STILL carry out more preaching. Do not others heed Jesus command to preach? (Matthew 28:19,29) (Matthew 24:14)
It often seems they are more concerned with political interest, voting, going to war and electing presidents. mmm...? Go figure.

Well it has been awhile, but then I am a Christian, one of Jehovah's Witnesses.
Depending on the size of the territory, it can be quite a while in between visits, but we are still quite active.
A good example of that fact.
I am in the process of moving. Few Witnesses in the area I'm moving to know about the Apartment I have near the house I'm working on (since I'm not really up for visiting in the crampt little hole in a wall:D).
Since staying there, I haven't had a Witness knock on the door, at least not while I was there. Doesn't mean they haven't come yet, or that they aren't coming, simply means I haven't been at the apartment at the same moment they were.
Currently, world wide, we are going out, letting people know about the Memorial of Christ's death and welcoming people to come, if they wish.
Meanwhile, the angry Lizard above me, had his/her other question deleted. I wonder if the poor gecko needs anger managment.

It's been ages for me too, thankfully. I've seen them in the neighbourhood (there's a Kingdom Hall about three blocks away) but no visit as yet. My front door is not the easiest to find, thankfully. They hand out Watchtowers at the train station though. I always take religious literature when it's handed out. One less in the hands of the confused. Don't want to be adding to the problem.

I once made the mistake of inviting them in and engaging in "theological" discussion. I did not not know how hard they would try considering they have some upper limit on their membership.
They kept coming back.
The last time I saw them was when they came on a full moon. I interrupted one of them mid-speech and told them that it was approaching the time when my congregation would be jumping over fire naked in my backyard. I asked if they would join us.
They declined.

In October I did, she was very nice. I was upset because my JW aunt was dying and wouldnt take a blood transfusion, so we talked doctrine for about an hour. She came back impromptu a couple months later to give me a JW book regarding blood.

Last week. There's a very friendly older gentleman who stops by every other week or so and we have nice little chats. He asks about my son and he hands me a pamphlet. I do read most of them!
Anyhow, I would be sad if he stopped coming around. He's such a nice fellow.

Yes, I had two about three weeks ago. I was nice to them and explained I wasn't interested. If you take their literature or invite them in they will note your address and make selective return visits. Appearently, you haven't been hospitable enough and thus don't make the grade.

Yes ... I know a Jehovah's Witness personally, I used to work with him. He told me you can sign up at their website and have someone pay you a visit .... since you're missing them :o)

It's been awhile for me as well, pretty sure they put out a national bulletin to their members about my house though, seriously it's not worth it. Or perhaps they finally got all the people that are going to Heaven, they must have reached their limit.
