I need to lose about 100lbs . . .?
I am really struggling and keep yo-yoing. Has anyone got any advice or tips?
I know it is going to take time but I just get so frustrated and cross with myself.
Is there anything I can do to to make myself feel abit more positive about this?

As someone who has struggled with weight and has tried it all I have come to a simple conclusion. There are two factors to losing weight:
What you eat
How much you exercise.
What you eat breaks down to two things. How many calories and how often you eat. You need to eat at least three meals a day but some people (myself included) find that they lose more weight if they eat five to six small meals a day. A fast food meal will give you over half of your calories for one day but will not fill you up all day. Also skipping meals slows your metabolism. This will cause you to gain weight even if you are not eating enough.
You need to burn calories. This means a combination of cardiovascular AND weight training. Muscle burns calories. Gain muscle, lose weight. But make sure you take measurements and not go by the scale alone. You might lose 10 pounds of fat and gain 4 of muscle. So it looks like you only lost 6 pounds but you might be two dress sizes smaller.
Best thing you can do is get a dietitian and a personal trainer and have them build a program just for you. If that might be out of your budget a complete plan like Body for Life may be a good starting point because it’s not just an eating program but an exercise program too.

if there is a will, there is a way.
you have to want it. If your not positive about it, your workout suffers. Try taking a day to go to the park, eat some fruits and, enjoy nature. Maybe afterward you will see how much better you feel. Try not to worry to much about the weight. It will come off within time. You have to work hard, get some encouragement, and have a fun diet. You prolly think I'm crazy by saying that, but you can have a piece of chocolate for that sweet treat. Also, now they have those 100 cal. packs, so you can have that salty or sweet treat! Just make sure your getting everything else you need first. Remember, stay calm, don't get stressed, and just have fun with it! It's a new beginning! A new lifestyle! Try getting your friends to join you; that could make it a bit easier.

Forget the fact you need to lose 100 lbs.
Start at the beginning. Lose 2 and then say "Yes, I have done it." Then, lose 2 more.
Realistically, you are not going to lose 100 lbs in 2008 (2 lbs a week is supposed to be healthy) so focus on what you can achieve first. Lose 10 lbs... then review...

To be honest, there is no secret to actually losing weight, just move around a little more, and eat healthy! Don't try telling me that though :) Lol, just remember that it's better to be plump and beautiful than slim and ugly. Bodies are easier to change that faces. Don't rush it, and don't deny yourself ANYTHING, just have very small amounts and make sure you'll treat yourself. Hope I helped :)

As hard as it may be you need to walk, at the weight you are now...2-3 hrs a day...so 1 hr morning.......4hrs later 1 hour again walking and5 hrs later 1 hr walk.....7 days a week.
NOT FAST!
JUST WALK AND WALK....and only eat salads,friut,veg and
150grms meat each second day...........good luck.
YOU WILL SEE RESULTS, FROM THE WALKING IN A WHILE...a couple of weeks.FOR SURE!!! it will take for that 100lbs....maybe a good 7-9 months, so stick with it.

Distracted dining could possibly get you in trouble. Avoid eating looking at a television or in a movie theatre, as you're bound to take in more calories.

Believe within yourself. How often have you shown admiration for someone and their achievements and then instantly thought, ‘I’d love to do this, but I just can’t. ’ Don’t limit your achievements from your thoughts. You can do whatever for you to do.

Regular exercise.

Early morning
Juice of half a lemon mixed in a glass of warm water and a teaspoon of honey.
Breakfast
Wheat or Mung bean sprouts and a cup of skimmed milk.
Midmorning

Home Remedies for Losing Weight
Increase the quantity of fruits and vegetables and low calorie foods.
Avoid intake of too much salt as it may be a factor for increasing body weight.
Milk products like cheese, butter etc. and non-vegetarian foods should be avoided as they are rich in fat.
Mint is very beneficial in losing weight. A chutney of green mint with some simple spices can be taken with meals. Mint tea also helps.
Spices like dry ginger, cinnamon, black pepper etc. are good for loosing weight and can be used in a number of ways.
Regular intake of carrot juice.
Avoid rice and potato, which contain a lot of carbohydrates.
Among cereals wheat is good.
Vegetables like bitter gourd (Karela), and bitter variety of drumstick are useful in loosing weight.
Honey is an excellent home remedy for obesity. It mobilizes the extra deposited fat in the body allowing it to be utilized as energy for normal functions.
Dosage: One should start with small quantity of about 10 grams or a tablespoon, taken with hot water early in the morning. A teaspoonful of fresh lemon juice may also be added.
Fasting on honey and lime- juice is highly beneficial in the treatment of obesity without the loss of energy and appetite. For this, mix one teaspoon of fresh honey with the juice of half a lime in a glass of lukewarm water.
Dosage: Take several times a day at regular intervals.
Raw or cooked cabbage inhibits the conversion of sugar and other carbohydrates into fat. Hence, it is of great value in weight reduction.
Exercise is an important part of any weight reduction plan. It helps to use up calories stored in body as fat.
Walking is the best exercise to begin with and may be
followed by running, swimming or rowing.

Are your dishes too big? A healthy dinner should fit over a 9-inch plate. You may discover that kid-sized plates are more appropriately sized to feed a adult!
