We have to feel happy, Why weeping and sad feelings?
In Luke 23:28 Jesus said ' Daughters of Jerusalem, do not weep for Me, but weep for your selves and for your children' Before going to Crucifixion Jesus said the above. But on Good Friday the Christians go on weep and feel sad. When Jesus washed our sins we happy to feel happy and more happy than Christmas. For that reason only the friday is called good. But the christians feel sad, and sing sad feeling songs in the churchs. In some new papers also the news printed like this " Christians celebrated the Good Friday in great sorrow and with sad feelings....... I dont know why sad feelings on that day? We have to shout Urakha urakha ....for washing our sins with Jesus blood. What is ur opinion on this?
thank u AdorHin,toptotly and Jan for responding for my question. In ur answer u mentioned we are sad by remembering the pain, suffering of Jesus on the cross. In Luke 23:28 tell us not to remember the pain, suffering of Jesus, and to remember urs and urs children. Jan said Luke 23:28 verses in the context of some thing, the total bible versers deals with different context. For example the 10 commondment are for those people ..... lived in the days of Moses like that every verses having it one references.

Many people followed Jesus on His way to the site if execution. The women in the crowed mourned and wept for Him. But Jesus said to them 'Daughters of Jerusalem...... (Luke 23:28 and Mark 15: 21-22). Then Jesus prophesied about the destruction of Jerusalem by the Roman army. In those days, He said those without children would be fortunate, because they would not have to see their children suffer. Also they would would be able to flee more easily. As Hosea prophesied (Hosea 10:8), the suffering inflicted by the Romans would be so great that people would ask the mountains and hills to fall on them and thus end their suffering. Jesus said that in that context.
Of course, we all know that Jesus died for us to save us. But the suffering of crucifixion was unbearable. The sad feeling of people is for His suffering. Our weeping or sad feeling is not enough, we should believe that Jesus died for us and risen from the grave. Some Call Good Friday as 'Great Friday'.
The context in which Jesus said Daughter of .... (Luke 23:28) was different from feelings of Good Friday.

I agree that Jesus died to free us from sin- however, think about it this way- we are remembering the pain that Jesus suffered for us- wouldn't that make you weep- or at least it should- It is called Good Friday- because our sins are washed away- but don't you ever weep at the thought of our sin putting Jesus there. that is why I weep. The rejoicing comes in the morning 2 days later when we celebrate His Resurrection- without the Resurrection, we would still be a people without hope.

The reason people are sad comes from realising that it is our sins that nailed Jesus to the cross and caused him to suffer. It is for ourselves that we cry. In all honesty, I have yet to see someone shed real tears on Good Friday. I will admit to being teary myself (but not crying) during Stations of the Cross on Good Friday when singing the hymn that accompanies each station.
We remind ourselves of the pain we put Jesus through and are saddened by that. Wouldn't you be?
You are also right in rejoicing in the life of Jesus that is why we celebrate Easter - we rejoice that He conquered death and gave us life to look forward to once we leave our earthly bodies.

am i able to start up by asserting God gave us our thoughts :) Soul: innovations, will, and thoughts. Jesus had them and that's solid sufficient for me. we've them for a reason - they're needed, and my very own opinion is: we are taught in some church homes to forget approximately approximately our emotions b'c they misinform us - i don't believe this. I additionally think of a few people get 'emotions' - instinct - and discernment blended up. i individually believe 'some' church coaching steals the sentiments God gave us - merely something i've got observed during the yrs. In each and every thing there's a stability to locate, and the Lord is an magnificent instructor. Take anger case in point: Anger can catapult us out of melancholy and into action, b'c melancholy is in specific situations anger grew to become in on ourselves. So for that reason, anger could nicely be utilized for solid. The present of *tears* b'c i think they seem to be a latest from God. Tears launch each and every thing to the Lord - He cares approximately each and every little ingredient that occurs to us. there's a time to cry - there's a time for each little thing. i think Spirituality and emotions can sit down conveniently at the same time. it fairly is a huge project, and there is not sufficient room - so i will end by asserting; it fairly is in basic terms while our emotions force us to the factor of no return it is while they alter right into a project. Betray us - no i would not say that - as quickly as we walk heavily with the Lord He would not enable us to be betrayed - He we could us circulate so some distance and no extra :) i comprehend you are going to be thinking ''emotions'' are distinctive from what i'm speaking approximately - if so merely forget approximately approximately me lol large question bro bless you :) desire i've got made some sense :) ~~~~~ Edit: I agree there are cases to stroll by faith - yet there are additionally cases while our emotions are valid -- nicely definitely, our emotions are consistently valid ;)

The world, is a place of misery. If you calculate the happiness and sadness, the latter will weight more. God is the only solace, here and thereafter.
My evidence: When Jesus Himself is being crucified, how about us?

It is all sentiments - inborn with human nature.
Even if Jesus told and also accepted yet the feelings try to express.
it is quite natural.
