What video games would I enjoy if I liked God of War?

I totally agree with Devil May Cry 3. There really aren't any games for the PS2 exactly like God of War (unfortunately, because I love GoW too), but DMC3 is a great action game. Here is an IGN review if you'd like to check it out:

Devil May Cry 1 and 3 (2 is pretty bad) are fast paced Hack n Slash games for the PS2

God of War 2 s also out.

Because it's really hard to sell games to teenagers-early adults (the main portion of the gaming community) that don't contain any violence. Generally, the more blood and gore the better. I have never played God of War 3, but some violent games do appeal to me; people find it fun that they can unleash their anger on virtual monsters and people rather than real people :)
