How does God have time?

If God/Jesus passes judgement at the pearly gates of everyone who dies (which is neigh on 15000 a day) how is there time for it to do anything else? i.e. answer prayers etc..

I am genuinely interested in where your logic comes from

Update:

of course I am not presupposing that God exists, opinions please

Update 2:

why should i not limit god? if it exists of course it exists within the concept of time and space

what arguments are there to suggest it lives outside of the laws of the universe?

Update 3:

to the last comment

It is irrelevent whether i believe in God or not! I use "it" because i believe that if there is a god it is neither man nor woman...

I am writing a thesis on God and wanted input on how christians overcome such problems

Update 4:

i am also very respectful of EVERYONES beliefs, christians, jews, jehovas witnesses, buddhists, muslims, hindus, atheists, agnostics, deists, polytheists

we are all the same, just people yearning to believe in something

You limit God and that is your first mistake.

The best I can come up with is that this God has incredible time management skills, doesn't take breaks or sleep, or doesn't live within the boundaries of the Universe that they have supposedly created.

Yes, well, all a bit implausible, but no less so than the expectation that Christians would be able to provide a lucid answer to your question.

The Multiverse is much like god. Look at the God/son theory, an you can see relations to the Multiverse/Universe theory.

It would also explain all those miracles, whcih would just be the universe manipulating events occuring in itself.

Of course, the most common answer is something along the lines of "God being outside of time." This, however, solves nothing, because a being that is apart from time could not perform any actions because action presupposes the existence of time... It would be like travelling without space or counting without numbers. No matter how powerful God is, it is intrinsically impossible.

God is eternal God is exisctence therefore he is essence

God created time, but he lives outside it, which is how he has time to do all that stuff, and in addtion God is omnipotent he can do all thing, u should not limited his abilites to by placing him on a material set of standards.

I'm just curious where the concept of time and space came from?

    Maybe man?

Finite concepts for an infinite God. Not very logical is it?

Well first off, not everyone faces this judgment. the righteous do not face this judgment. there is no need. yes god judges our hearts though. if our hearts are truely for him, if we are truely saved, then we go to heaven. if you read in revelation, it says that the unbelievers will be judged, final judgment day. it actually says that we do the judging, not all of it but we judge. as the righteous, or christian we do not have to face this horrible judgment. it comes at the end of the 7 year tribulation. at this point all who were ever saved and ever will be are in heaven. the rest will never come to God. he judges them and puts them on trial. not us as we are in heaven at this time. they are judged for everytime they ever sinned. God does not putus through that. i hope this helps. if not i have more input.

I can see that you do not have understanding my friend. However, I will take a philosophical stance on your question. Time is only a man-made perception of periods of existance. We have given time quantity (years, days, etc) and we have based these on several different observations: solar revolution, earth rotation, etc. Time defines deterioration of existance (new to old) and physical existance(life to death).

There is no space-time. Time cannot slow down or cannot speed up. Time is a perception we have that we have used to calculated periods of existance.

I must assume that you do not believe in God, or that you view those who do with some amusement. So, the question arises: Why do you care? The answers to your questions are directly linked to the ability to have faith and humility. If you don't believe in God, be decent enough to permit others to have their beliefs.

But do not overlook this one fact, beloved, that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. 2 Peter 3:8 (ESV)

    They have plenty of time.
