Do you trust the grey avatars?

nope it looks liker they're trying to be mysterious and vage about themselves. It seems like they are trying to hide their true Identity. after all these little yahoo made avatar thingies to represent your True Identity right...

They just don't bother to or have the knowledge to make a real avatar, so they use the default image. I am also Leary of anyone that has less than 1000 points and their account is like 1-3 months old. That means that they could be a Troll or have multi-accounts.

It depends on what level they're on. If they are on a higher level and have been around for a while, then I just assume they didn't want to create an avatar. I won't usually answer a level 1 grey, though. Too much chance of them being a troll---not to be mean, I'm just sayin'...

edit: That answer looks pretty dumb when I'm using my level 3, huh?

I agree I wish they would have a picture or something. I dislike gray avatars for some reason

Why don't they make any effort to be assimilated?

Should we ban them? Ignore them? Teach them? Embrace them? Throw them out of the boat? Feed them? Enlighten them? Intimidate them? Pander to them? Dance for them?

I honestly don't pay attention to them. I didn't realize that until you pointed them out. I guess they are people but I figured they don't want to interact cause they didn't personalize their avatar.

I have a leeriness at first but I also let them reveal themselves and give them a chance to see about their legitimacy

Grey is not an attractive healthy color ... maybe they are silver miners and simply are covered in silver dust.

One of my nicest contacts is a "gray man." They do seem a bit more mysterious for some reason though, don't they?
