Why are old people so against young people???

They're smarter than you... that's why they try to help you. Heck, I won't be saying that I'm not included in their musings (I'm only 23), but you really need to look at what they've done in life, because unlike the youth of the world, they've actually learned from their mistakes. As a teenager, you're still going through them. So you need to show respect, because even though you're the future, you wouldn't be anywhere without them to guide you a little. Young people make mistakes because we all think we're so powerful, and we don't actually pay much attention to the advice of our elders, who tell us that it isn't a good idea to take that bottle of alcohol (but we do anyways, because we're listening to our peers over our grandparents).

I fully intend growing old disgracefully. When I retire, I'm going to get one of those electric carts and put spikes on the wheels.

In truth, I think some older people have forgotton how to have some fun...just some, mind you.

As you said, old people were teenagers once. They were also once as stupid as your post would suggest you act. But they grew up, as you will someday (hopefully), and they learned that the world is not centered around them. When you are elderly I bet you will complain just as much about "those young whippersnappers."

Most old people I know are lovely.

old people are not using your time, you will have to remember that when you get older you will be doing the same thing what they said.

when next 30 years later you will see the different then they probly won't care about your old age, now you will think what you have said to those old people.

They are from a whole different generation and when they were young, things were so different. I think they don't understand young people of today.

Yea i know it's so annoying not every teenager takes drugs or beats people up. I'm so annoyed that the press keeps reinforcing this negative image of us. I reckon their just jealous because we've got our whole lives ahead of us and they don't and that we're having fun and their not.
