I'm writing a book. I'm 13 and writing my own book. .. read ?

I think it will be successfull. Even if it doesn't get published, I want a book to call my own. I need topic iddeas. I thought about writing an autobiography, but I feel it won't be as interesting as I want it to be. Then I thought about maybe a biography about someone else's life, but I don't know who I would do it about. Please don't discourage me in any ways. I know it might not and probably won't get published, but I really want to write a book. Dictional topic ideas would be good.

Thank you so much in advance !! <33

P.S. If this helps you think of topics, I am trying to write a fiction book in first-person.

Update:

I give everyone that answers a thumbs up or thumbs down . Depending on whether orr not I like the idea or whether or not it's a mature answer.

Update 2:

Also, I want something unique not original. Something that not everyone writes about.

How about a science-fiction answering the question, "What if.......?"

Fictional first person? How about a story about a girl who goes to a party with some friends, has a good time, something happens and later finds herself half-nude in a bed and a pool of what appears to be blood. The story is told in first-person of the girl trying to recollect the events and figure out what has happened.

A "fictional" auto-biography? (Basically, a fictional character that writes an auto-biography)

Write a story from different points-of-views. Story won't make much sense unless you get all points-of-view. (Idea from the movie, Vantage Point)

    That's great!

Write what you want to write.

The fun thing about writing is that you can make characters based on other people, but change their names.

You could write a fiction novel with a main character around your age and incorporate some of your personality into her character. You said you think your life is too boring....change it and make it into your book. Maybe you live in a different country or you travel across the country or world because of your parent's job? If you are an only child, give the character a big family....or vice versa. :)

Or you can make it similar to your life, but your whole family is really undercover because of something you witnessed earlier in your lives. You could make it a teenage love story about the most popular guy in the school. Or a dramatic novel about a teenager that saves lives her special powers.

It's your book. Make it fun. Make it humorous.Make it different, but make it YOURS.

Don't worry how it sounds at first, sometimes the best books started out as a completely different story in their beginnings. Just start writing/brainstorming and see what idea has a story behind it that you can't stop writing about.

Happy writing! You can do it.

Good for you. Writing isn't very easy. I suggest taking some creative writing classes and going to the library and getting a few books on MLA form and grammar. Good grammar is your best friend. Free write like crazy. Put down as many ideas as possible,. Don't let anyone discourage you. Go for it! I am a writer too. A person that can write has great potential. Lots of employers look for this type of skill. p.s Write about something a cool or amazing experience that happened to you or someone you know and tweak it a bit.

I'm not really sure how to answer you. I'm like you, I'm almost 15 and I'm writing my own book. I've got a tonne of fantasy/sci-fi ideas I would give you, but if you want to write fiction, then you should be absolutely certain about what genre you want to write about. I would suggest, first, noting down any inspiration you get, as soon as you get it, even if its only tiny. I would also keep a journal of all your ideas, because if you keep em stored up in your head then you will either become very stressed (its happened to me far to often) or you will forget them. Any ideas you get, any at all, even if its only an a shaky undefined image, then you should jot it down. And finally, if you are having trouble thinking up a story, then try creating your own characters first, and them building a story around them. Hope this helps.

my advice is not to take any of what everybody is telling u cause its very common already sit down and look around and you will find a lot of interesting ideas of ur own....be original!!!! thats the key dont writte about something that we've already seen or heard.... have u heard about stevens' king or something like that? I hate him... but he writes about stuff that i've never heard b4 and that makes him super original! if i were u ill get all the opinions that these people have told u and write 'em down and then scratch them so u know what NOT to write about (*note: people u have good imagination but those ideas are already taken).... thats my advice anyways.... take care and good luck!

Your own ideas will be better than what anyone else could suggest for you to do. Follow your heart, start writing and don't let anyone ever get you discouraged.

YES ITS A GOOD IDEA TO MAKE YOUR SELF BESSY WITH RIGHTING A BOOK , I WILL BE HAPPY TO READ IT

THE BEST STORY TO WRITE IT IS ABOUT YOUR BIOGRAPHY AIM SURE ITS GOING TO BE PERFECT ,WRITING ABOUT OTHER PPL ITS LITTLE DIFFICULT COZ YOU DON'T KNOW ALL THE DETAILS SO

START WITH YOUR SELF AND YOUR FAMILY YOUR NEIGHBOUR,WITH CHANGING THE NAMES SO THAT NO BODY WILL NOW ABOUT WHOM YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT.
