Is this scripture for just Prophets, or, for everyone...?

for everyone that chooses to beleive. He is my Holy One,He is my Maker,and we are his adopted sons and daughters.

Scripture is for everyone.

2Ti 2:15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

Luke 6:3 And Jesus answering them said, Have ye not read so much as this, what David did, when himself was an hungred, and they which were with him;

I found seven times where Jesus asked the question "have ye not read?" I think he may have been telling us that we should know what is written.

2Timothy 3:17 that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.
