My son has been taking this medication since he was 5 and is almost 8 now. I seen that other parents are having problems as well as me with this med. Well my question is the the parents who pulled thier children off... How long does it take for this medication to get out of thier systems? I have had my son off for almost a week and he is still acting up....

it takes the same time to get out of hte system as to get into the system.
7 days to start working and up to 30 days to reach theraputic levels. so reverse...it will take up to 30 days to completely remove from system.
