Why is Hillary doing better vs McCain in Ohio, Florida and Pennsylvania today, than Obama vs McCain?

Florida: Clinton 44%, McCain 42%

Ohio: Clinton 48%, McCain 39%

Pennsylvania: Clinton 48%, McCain 40%

Florida: Obama 37%, McCain 46%

Ohio: Obama 43%, McCain 42%

Pennsylvania: Obama 43%, McCain 39%

She's also polling ahead of Obama in West Virginia, Kentucky, Indiana, and Pennsylvania primaries. While behind in North Carolina.

Because democrats and republicans alike believe that McCain will defeat Obama easily in the general election.

The republicans voting for Obama to get the favorable match-up.

The democrats voting against Obama in hopes of having a democrat in the White House.

I think Hill is doing better, now, after 'typical white' voters were stimulated into action by the disillusioned early primaries.

Cause the polls include all 3 people. You have to narrow it down to 2. Which will be Obama and McCain. Right now nationally Obama leads Hillary and McCain in 1 on 1 contests.

In the case of Florida, there is definitely an element of him being blamed for disenfranchising the 1.7 million Democrats who voted in the primary in which he WAS on the ballot. If he didn't think it mattered then why didn't he remove his name from the ballot as in Michigan? The reality is that Obama is failing in all or nearly all the swing states where he needs to win in November.

Those aren't the numbers in your own link!

Hillary used to have a 20% lead over Obama in PA and that is now down to 5% with 3 weeks to go before the primary.

Because we here in Ohio don't like racists...

We try to stay ahead of the Civil Rights curve, you know, make the world a more fair place.

If HRC isn't the nominee for the Democrats, you can fully expect those states to vote for McCain in November.

  • Hillary is the best choice!

Different polls, different questions, different people answering the questions.

Guess what, a poll is just another type of statistics.
