How often do major retailers have these offers for laptops??? All I can find right now is 0% interest offers for tvs.

    I happens a lot in the summer before school for back to school sales. That's the biggest time for people to buy computers and they have stiffer competition in that arena in that time.

    Probably late July-august is when you'll see lots of these things popping up.

    Not often, BUT, read the fine print; See how much it will cost you in the long-run; Sometimes they just hide the interest amount in an inflated price.( Still the same amount , as you would have paid anyway ).

    Why don't you just apply for a 0% credit card and just charge it on the credit card. One other benefit of doing this is that Visa/MasterCard will double your warranty on the Laptop.
