Cleanliness is of 2 types:

i) Ghushl or washing of the whole body;

ii) Wudu' or ritual absolution

Both are required for validity of the prayer.The first i.e., Ghushl becomes compulsory inthe following cases:

i) after sexual intercourse;

ii) after ejaculation of sperm by any reason;

iii) when the monthly menstruation of a woman has ended;

iv) when a woman's postnatal bleeding stops;

v) and when a non-Muslim embraces Islam.

Ghusl is performed by washing the private parts and removing the filth from the body, then performing the ritual ablution (Wudu) without washing the feet, then washing the whole body. The feet should be washed at the end.

How to perform Wudu' or Ritual ablution

1- Make the intension in your mind to make ablution. There is no need to express your intention in words.

2- Say Bismillah

3- Wash the hands upt o wrists.

4- Rinse mouth, clean your theeth.

5- Sniff water into the nostrils and blow it out.

6- Wash facefrom the limits of your hair to the bottom of your chin, and fromear to ear.

7- Wash the hands up to elbows, start with the right hand first

8- Pass wet hands over head, and rub with wet fingers inside & outside the ears.

9- Wash the feet up to the ankles, starting with the right foot.

The washing of the parts of the body may be donne once, twince or three times but no more than three times, inside and outside the ears and on the socks is to be done only once.

Ash-hadu allaa ilaaha illal-laahu wahdahoo laa shareeka lah, wa ash-hadu anna Muhammadan abduhu wa rasooluh.

Allahummaj- alnee minat-tawwaabeena waj - alnee minal mutatahhireen.

If unknowly you perform it incorrectly I believe that it will be accepted but Allah knows everything, Allah knows best.

“The proper method of ghusl (ritual bath) involves the following steps:

1. Make the niyyah (intention) to perform ghusl for purification.

2. Wash your private parts thoroughly with water.

3. Perform wudu’ (ablution) except for washing of your feet, which you can do later while bathing the body.

4. Wash the entire body, starting with your head and the right side, followed by the left.

5. It is preferred that the whole body be washed three times. The minimum is once.

Having completed the above, you are considered eligible to perform the salah (prayer).”

Edit:

sniff water into the nose and then blow the water out and using the left hand remove the water from your nose. Do this three times

Only 3 Fardhs in ghusl if these 3 are carried out you have successfully done ghusl-if even one is missing Ghusl incomplete:

1. to take water in the nostrils to the bone

2. to gargle the mouth with water

3. to cover the entire body with water

If you want to do Ghusl the sunnah way for more thawaab/reward then perform it this way:

1.istinjah

2.wudu

3.ghusl starting off by washing the right side first then the left.

Assalam Alaikum,

If Ghusal is not compulsory on you then only pouring water on the whole body after saying Bismillah in your heart will make the ghusal if not then follow any of the advice above. Both are right but method of stating and categorizing is different but Fard are only three and others are wajibat and mustahibat.

To rinse water into nostrills take a breathe in and stop it there and take water in your right hand and turn your face slightly upward so that water can creep into it and pour the water in your nostrils and jerk your head upward and water will reach end of the nose and then breathe out the water. It is easy by practice.

The first few documents are charts displaying the required acts, sunnah acts, and recommended acts of each item. As far as I know, your ghusl would be valid if you got the obligatory parts correct. Integrals of the Purificatory Bath

Two things are obligatory for the validity of the purificatory bath:

1. Having the intention when water is first applied to the parts that must be washed. the intention depending on the state to be lifted: eg. to lift a state of majore ritual impurity (janaba), or menstruation, or the general intention "to be permitted to perform the prayer",

2. That the water reaches all of the hair and skin to the roots of the hair, under the nails,the outward visible portion of the ear canals,and the private parts of the non-virgin woman which are normally disclosed when she squats to relieve herself. Unlike ablution, the sequence of washing the parts is not obligatory.

When I snuff water, I usually don't have to close one nostril. I just inhale the water and snort it back out. Since it is a sunnah (or recommended?), I don't worry too much about whether I did it properly. I cannot find it, but my memory says that the invalid ghusl after which one has already done salat does not affect the validity of the already completed salat. Where on earth is KMI? Or Gnostic?

Several members,females,shall hopefully explain in details.I wish to add that what really matters is the Intention (Niyyah-niyyat) behind any act performed religiously.Any lapses, minor or even major, shall be forgiven and you shall get good reward in the hereafter, if your niyyah was wholesome and you retained 'God-consciousness during the ritual-ghusl. Begin with the name of Allah, as with Wudu. Three complete washings are directed for purification.

Bath or ablution of the whole body is fardh or obligatory when an adult has had sexual intercourse , ommision of semen , noctunal emmision or a wet dream , and also on becoming a Muslim for the first time . For women , also on completion of menstruation or haidh and after child birth or Nifas or the end of the flow of blood . Bath is Sunnah before the Friday congregational prayer .

The Ghusl is as follows:

Make the intention in your heart that you are making a ghusl to purify yourself for the sake of Allah.

-First, the person washes his/her private parts,

-then makes the wudu (ablutions) as usually done before prayers,

-then pours water on his/her head three times till the water gets to the roots of the hair.

-After that, the person pours the water over his/her whole body and finally washes his/her feet.

-Rubbing the hair is not sufficient in both ways, indeed the water has to reach the skin of the head.

As far as nostril, like taking water in to your nose is concerned, take little water in your palm and take it up through your nose a little bit, make sure it doesn't hurt you. take your little finger in to the nose making sure that water reaches your nose properly.

Wadu is done : wash your hands till wrist 3 times, then wash your mouth 3 times, take water to nose, then wash face three times, then wash hands 3 times and make a massah, that is wet your front portion of the head,,then ears and the neck and finally wash your feet 3 times.

you dont have to take water into your nostrils,

as for ghusal just clean yourself. massage yourself in order to clean ,pour water,take a soap or a gel put it on your body,make a foam,massage,clean your private parts,your feet,hair.thats it !!! what else you want to know ?
