Is there any way to mess up the art of scrunching hair?

I really really wanna try it tonight, But I'm afraid I'll look like I got hit by a bolt of lightning.

Is there anyway to mess it up?

If so, is there a way to cover it up?

lol.

Well, I know how to do it, I just don't wanna do it wrong.

So, is there any way to mess up the art of scrunching hair?

=]

Update:

This will be my first time scrunching it!

Thats why im scared!!

Haha the nice thing is, if you mess up, you just wet it down and start over.

    Instructions:

    1. Get hair wet.

    2. Get scrunching product, whichever one you choose.

    3. Scrunch hair.

    4. If your hair takes forever to dry (like mine..), you can blowdry, but either use a diffuser or don't put the blow dryer on super high, or it will just get rid of the waves.

By the way, if you are planning this for tomorrow, don't do it until then or you sleeping will just smash it in your sleep. However, you might wanna do a practice run.

    Good luck!

    scrunching 101

make sure your hair is wet when you scunch

tip your head to the side and scrunch

then tip your head to the other side and scrunch it

    are the curls forming? yes?

scrunch all over.. just scrunch away

    ask it drys.. keep scrunching

you can use a spray gell or a light hair gel to hold into place

while scrunching.. my favorite is paul mithchel spray gel.. but you can use any light one that is not too sticky

when it drys to prefections.. use a hairspray and spray it into place

    got it?

    ok.. other advice

    don't do it at night

you will just have to redo it in the morning

wet it down and start all over

    night night and good luck

As long as you use mousse and finish it off with a bit of hairspray it should work fine... you can't really mess it up. But if you end up not liking how it looks then its cute to put it up in a messy ponytail with a nice flower tucked into the elastic. I have bought TONS of fake flowers to switch it up with different outfits. I love scrunching my hair for leaving it down and for putting it up.

    GOOD LUCK!

Depending on how thick /thin your hair is and if your hair is layered or not you need to be careful how much hair product you use -to much makes it so stiff and can look greasy - not enough will give you a hairstyle you want for a while but perhaps die out before lunch -you can use mousse or you can use gel, and sticky gels- I like BEDHEAD -MANIPULATOR - good if your hair is thick - if not or if your scared of the real sticky stuff -use Redken's -WATER WAX -do be careful or it can make you look like you have greasy hair!

in case you place it in a loose bun, then you definately could have beachy waves once you awaken. in case you like them much less sea coast toddler/bohemian, then you definately can upload slightly extra mousse and scrunch them right into a effective twisted up seem. the main suitable component approximately this seem is that it is meant to be a appealing, purely away from mattress kinda seem, gently twisted up, (probably) elementary seem, so it fairly is uncomplicated to get it authentic.

yea dont over due it, and dont use to much hairspray, gel, or whatever it is you use. you dont want it to look like a birds nest. But a help ful tip, if you have shoulder length or longer hair, try using the piece of the hairdryer that comes with it that like like a bowl with spikes on it, works wonders lol...just ball up your hair n shurnh it up into all over your head. its does good..

Only by using way too much product so that your hair's all stiff and sticky and unnatural-looking. Don't worry, if you don't like it you can always just put it up and it'll look cute and stay really well.

    dont think so...

    just some hair product

    and scrunch

I don't think so! After all it's basically adding volume by fisting up your hands. And if it looks messed up you can just wash your hair again to return it to normal =)

just don't overdo it ...there is a particular shape of your hair tht would make it look good

just hairspray it into place and keep it tied tight
