My arm becomes "sore" after 4 hours of sleep?
During the daytime my arm is fine, but then when I sleep, I wake up in the middle of the night, with only what I can describe as a sore arm. From the shoulder all the way down, and usally it wouldn't be a problem, it's just that there is NO WAY to get it comfortabe while I sleep. This happens every night, and has been happening for gosh.... 5 months now. It's not a numbing feeling, I havent slept on it wrong. I went to the doctor, but they couldn't tell me anything, except take a sleeping pill. Great advice right? So I'm hoping that maybe someone can help me out. Maybe you've had this problem, or know whats going on??? I'm so fustrated, and I just start crying when I get tried, because I know I'm not going to get to sleep. HELP PLEASE!!!
It's not EXTREME pain, it's just more annoying then anything. And I've seen a few doctors, and they've done tests and x-rays and still they cant tell me anything. I've never had any bad injuries or surgery.

I went to the Chiropractor as a last resort for my severe shoulder pain. I had the same problem sleeping at night, in addition to many others. When they did the scan of my back, I was told my muscles on my right side were very strong, and my left not so much, which caused a lot of the pain. Plus, I had about 7 pinched nerves and slight scoliosis. Try a chiropractor, after 2 visits I noticed a major change, and I've been finished with my therapy for about 3 weeks now and I can sleep without waking up because of the pain.

During the day you are focused on the external world. In the middle of the night all the mental defenses are down and the body/brain processes internal data. It could be an old injury or a muscle imbalance. To find out what the problem is and then fix it read and apply http://www.helium.com/tm/148271

I had severe pain, not numbness, during the night up my arms when I had carpal tunnel syndrome. I've since had surgery and it's fixed.

talk to your doctor. Did you have an injury or any surgeries around that time frame? You may have nerve damage..........but as I said see a doctor. Just friendly advice, as I am not a doctor.
