Is it true that Muslims do not get poisoned?
There is a prophetic statement told by prophet Muhammed and related by Bukhary that says that anyone (or any Muslim) who eats 7 dates in his breakfast will not be affected by poison or witchcraft.
- Is that true that eating dates makes you immune against any poison?
- Is there witchcraft?

I love to eats dates but I am not a Muslim. The Muslim does not get poison if they don't take poison by drinking and eating it. If a person believes in Witchcraft then he is bewitched but it does not give power to him that he will not die of poison. If a person is immune to poison, there is possibility that he will not die of poison.

Taino indians had the wrong idea that Spaniards were Gods. They made them believe so...and many indians fell for it...but one cacique didn't...so he sent his soldiers to pick one of the so called Gods and drown him. And so this group of Puertorrican Taino Indians killed Diego Salcedo, the first Spaniards to be killed by Tainos...my point?
They might say they don't get poisoned, and no one dares to see if is true, but someone eventually will not believe that nonsense and prove them wrong.
Don't believe everything you hear...that is a religious way of thinking. Facts....that is what you need to believe.

There is an unseen spiritual world out there that is not always friendly to us. I believe it can be manipulated to some degree by us (or we are manipulated into believing we manipulate it). I don't see the use in recommending seven dates for anything other than constipation. Muhammed was a great leader and founded a vast religion, but he was mistaken, so I wouldn't listen to him.

No, eating dates does not make you immune to poison, though if there's anybody out there who is that devout and wants to test it, they can be my guest.
As for witchcraft, as there is no such thing, you should be safe from it whether you eat dates or not.

One good way to find out. Eat 7 dates for breakfast. Have Dran-O for lunch. You won't have to worry about what to have for dinner.

Somehow this brings to my mind the Snake Handling Cult in Tennessee.
My only answer is from the Bible:
"Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God"
Therefore, it wouldn't be a good idea to try it, even if you believe it to be true.
Which I don't.
