There is a prophetic statement in Sahih Bukhary about prophet Muhammed companions who enslaved some women during a battle and they had sex with those women but did not want their semen to come inside those women (fearing that the women might get pregnant). When prophet Muhamemd know of what his companions were doing he told them they can have FULL SEX with those women and it does not matter if they get pregnant.

Was that fair from prophet Muhammed?

A Muslim friend told me about authentic Hadith and historical accounts that confirm that prophet Muhammed married 9 years old girl. He told me that nothing was wrong by the time to marry a child at that age, but I am just asking:

1- Is it true that prophet Muhammed did that?

2- Even if that was common by that time, why did not prophet Muhammed change it to improve people's lives?

Islamic Sharia entitles the wife of a dead Msulim man to inherit 1/4 of his estate (if she has no children) or 1/8 of his estate (if he has children); neverthless Islamic Sharia does not give a penny for that wife if she was not Muslim.

Is there any reason for that?

There is a story in Sahih Bukhary about prophet Muhammed who heard of a temple in Yemen (more than 800 km from his Medina) where some people used to go and worship their own god. When prophet Muhammed heard of that temple, he sent some of his companions and asked them to DESTROY that temple. The Muslims raided the village, DESTROYED the temple, KILLED people who were there, and looted the village.

Does thais story stand with what we heard of prophet Muhammed being tolerant?

There is a story in Sahih Bukhary about prophet Muhammed who asked his companions if any of them would volunteer to kill someone (with the name of Ka'ab Ibn Al Ashraf) who used to oppose prophet Muhammed. The story tells that three of prophet Muhammed companions volunteered to KILL the man and they went to him after his wedding and CUT HIS HEAD and returned to prophet Muhammed with the man's head with them. When prophet Muhammed saw the man's head he cheered and thanked god.

Why did prophet Muhammed (who had all the wonderful teachings) send his companions to kill that man?

I heard that the Quran allows wife to inherit only a quarter of her late husband's money, while on the other hand it entitles husband to inherit half of his late wife's money.

Is there any reason for that difference?

There is a prophetic statement told by prophet Muhammed and narrated by Bukhary and Moslim about prophet Muhamemd who said that the angel Gabriel came to him through a hole in the roof and opened prophet Muhammad's chest, took his heart out and washed it with water then he put it back again in prophet Muhammed's chest.

Does this mean that prophet Muhammed was the first man ever to undergo an open-heart operation?

Islamic history books (including SAHIH MUSLIM and SAHIH BUKHARI) tell a story about prophet Muhammed who KILLED all the men of a Jewish tribe and enslaved all the women and CHILDREN on allegations that the leaders of that tribe TRIED to betray him.

I am asking what wrong did those poor children do to be enslaved?

Was there any reason for prophet Muhammed to order killing dogs?

When reading the Quran, I found that the only condition for an Islamic marriage to be valid is to pay due money (sadaq) to that woman whom you want to marry. Many verses in the Quran stresses on that condition:

"And give unto the women (whom ye marry) free gift of their dues" [4:4]

"And those of whom ye seek content (by marrying them), give unto them their dues as a duty" [4:24]

"give unto them their dues in kindness" [4:25]

"And so are the virtuous women of the believers and the virtuous women of those who received the Scripture before you (lawful for you) when ye give them their dues" [5:5]

"And it is no sin for you to marry such women when ye have given them their dues" [60:10]

- Is there any other conditions in the Quran for the marriage to be valid other than paying money to the woman whom you want to marry?

- And what is the real purpose of paying that due money?

I have a friend who works in a charity organization and he wants his Muslim friends to pay their charity (zakat) to that organization to help people in crisis (India, Africa,... etc.). My friends are not very wealthy and they can only pay their basic charity (zakat), but I heard many fatwas that zakat should be ONLY for muslims.

Can Muslims pay zakat to non Muslims?

There is a prophetic statement told by prophet Muhammed and narrated by Bukhary where prophet Muhammad allowed his companions to KILL the children of his enemies saying that those children are from them (enemies).

Also, Islamic history tells that prophet Muhammed once killed a prisoner of war and when the prisoner begged him for mercy asking him what his children should do if he was killed, prophet Muhammed said they would go to HELL.

From all the above, can we say that prophet Muhammed used to punish small children for their father's sins?

There is a verse in the Quran that says (from Al Safat 37):

"[22] "Bring ye up," it shall be said, "The wrong-doers and their wives, and the things they worshipped,

[23] "Besides Allah, and lead them to the Way to the (Fierce) Fire!"

Why should god punish the wives for what their husbands have done?

There is a prophetic statement told by prophet Muhammed and related by Bukhary that says that anyone (or any Muslim) who eats 7 dates in his breakfast will not be affected by poison or witchcraft.

- Is that true that eating dates makes you immune against any poison?

- Is there witchcraft?

- Is eating dates makes you immune against witchcraft?

There is a statement related by Aysha (prophet Muhammed's favourite wife) telling that she was with prophet Muhammed and he wanted to have SEX with another wife (Safeya) but Aysha told him that Safeya was on her monthly period. This statement is related by Bukhary and Moslim.

Does this mean that prophet Muhammed did not see anything wrong in having sex with his wife (Safeya) in front of his other wife (Aysha)?

There are many verses in the Quran that give me strong doubts about what I hear from Muslims about Islam as a PEACFUL religion. Some of the verses are:

"so take not friends from their ranks (unbelievers) until they flee in the way of Allah (from what is forbidden). But if they turn renegades, seize them and slay them wherever ye find them; and (in any case) take no friends or helpers from their ranks" [4:89]

Why did god order Muslims to FIGHT their non Muslim neighbours?

There are many Quranic verses that order Muslims to HATE no Muslims. In Islam it is called Al Wala'a Wal bara'a, which means that Muslims should support each other and should hate non Muslims.

Should not Muslims try to improve their religion to stand today's values?

The biography of prophet Muhammed (Sirat Ibn Hisham) tells that prophet Muhammed used to have a relative who was a Christian priest. The biography tells that after the death of that priest, prophet Muhammed could not have any more REVEALATIONS and hence he attempted suicide several times.

Any comments about that story?
