According to Romans 1:20, does Genesis 1:3, 4, 5, 16-18 , depict Jesus and Satan ?
Romans 1:20 .............. For the invisible things of Him FROM THE CREATION of the world are clearly seen, being understood BY THE THINGS THAT ARE MADE, even His eternal power and Godhead; so that they are with out excuse.
Genesis 1:3-5 ............... And God said, Let there be Light : and there was Light. And God saw the Light (Jesus), that it was GOOD ; and God divided the Light from the darkness ( Satan ). And God called the Light Day and the darkness He called Night.
Vs. 16-18 ............. And God made two great lights ; the greater Light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night : He made the stars also.
And God set them in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth, And to RULE OVER the day and over the night, and to divide the Light from the darkness.

I don"t think this is making reference to Jesus and satan, but I like your thoughts here because Jesus is the light and satan has no light. Also the fact that "God divided the Light from the darkness" tells us that there should be the same separation among the people of God and the world today.
TEN THUMBS UP for my brother (((Israel))).

The KEY to most concepts is found in the basic understanding of God. All the whys refer back to the "CONCEPT" you have about God. Without a SOLID foundation how can one build ?
Since all things came from God, then the devil himself also came from God. When Darkness ( chaos, confusion, etc...) was upon the face ( God ) of the deep, God separated the things inside Him. The most outstanding darkness is known to us as the devil. The outstanding Light is known to us as Jesus.
All the good in the world comes from Jesus.
All the bad in the world came from the devil.
SEPARATION ! All was manifest in the spiritual realm, and is being manifested in the natural realm. This separation process has been going on in the natural realm since the revealing of Satan, so all can see and judge.
Romans 1:20 says : For the invisible things of Him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead; so they are without excuse.
This same separation is what is expected of Christians. We are to do introspection constantly, dividing the good from the evil. The darkness from the light. Replacing ignorance with understanding. We are to REVEAL what is in us, and judge. That righteous judgement is given to us by the Word .

We said tebone0315, I like your answer well put. Silver Tongue where in the hell did you come with those incorrect verses. First of all, this is a bad way to for a Protestant to interpret the bible and use them for his own benefits by twisting the truth. You need to read whole Matthew 16, Mark 14, and 2 Corinthians 11 to understand what is really saying. Second, logical sequence is wrong by pick those verse. Third, you or your Minister is saying God should not give authority to man to teach his teaching because man is imperfect that goes wrong with scripture. God gave the authority to Peter and the Apostles to teach. Even the Apostles gave the authority to their disciples to pass their teachings as Esteban and other. They knew how import was to carry Jesus message to the ages. The Catholic Church is run by man who is guided by Holy Spirit. They have learned from their past mistakes and now more complex government system less to fall into error. Plus, to correct the path we always go back to teaching of Christ from the beginning when Christ founded the church. Plus, Church is the New Jerusalem as on the old prophet guided the people back to the right path also the Saint of the Church do. God make word come true it says, the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. The only thing that changes is the method that it evangelized the world in time. Last for the other writers, Peter is the Rock in Aramaic it is Rock. Aramatic was Jesus Language which the orginal scripture was then later was translated to Greek.

Nope. Not even close.
Apparently you have never studied physics. You seem to think that "dark" exist. There is no wave or particle which causes "darkness". It can not be measured. It is not produced by anything. Rather, it is simply the absence of something that does exist: light.
So God never created "darkness", such he only made things that exist. He did create light in such a way that it can be "separated" (taken away, or be absence) and darkness will result. But even then "darkness" does not exist, again it is only the absence of something God made.

Romans 1:20 is directing us to look for the evidence of our spiritual God in the tangible things of Creation.
Essentially, it speaks to those that deny the existence of God, and God says, "Look around you in creation!" There is no excuse for you NOT to believe in Me." "The evidence of My handiwork is all around."
Therefore, God will judge the just and the unjust .

I dont think so. Jesus is indeed the light but not in the context of the creation story.

What Paul is saying is that there is no excuse not to believe in God – that all the evidence we need already exists and has existed since the beginning of time. All we need to do is open our eyes, both physically and spiritually. But most importantly, we need to open our hearts. We will find the truth only if we seek it.

Your being creative - I believe it means pretty much what it says night and day and the lesser light being the moon.

No, those passages in Genesis mentioned above have nothing to do with Jesus. Paul was an opportunist and pathological liar. He fabricated much more than that about 30 years after Jesus' death in order to build the foundations of Christianity.

No it doesn't..............
Satan didn't become satan until after Lucifer fell from heaven sometime after the creation.
I don't see satan in any of these great verses
