I believe his testimony comes from Luke 4 -17-21,when he read the book of the Prophet Isaiah, He said, the Spirit of the Lord is upon me,because he has anointed me to preach the Gospel to the poor,he hath sent me to heal the broken hearted,to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, TO PREACH THE ACCEPTABLE YEAR OF THE LORD. but now that i read ,it in my Bible I see it is the SPIRIT of PROPHECY.

Revelation 19:10
"At this I fell at his feet to worship him. But he said to me, "Do not do it! I am a fellow servant with you and with your brothers who hold to the testimony of Jesus. Worship God! For the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy."
Those who have never been truly born again by the water and the Spirit (John 3:5) cannot answer this question properly for the truth has not yet set them free.
The 'testimony of Jesus or the Spirit of prophesy' means exactly that 'His testimony of how He came to remove the sins of the world.' This is His gospel or His righteousness which makes us righteous before Him. Read 1 John 5:6-11.
That is why He told us that the only way to become born again is to understand and to believe in His water baptism and His blood on the Cross in John 3:5 and 1 John 5:6-11.
If we leave any one of these righteous acts out and only believe in His death on the Cross then we will be left out...for God cannot lie.

That Jesus is our Lord & Savior & saved us from our sins. His blood has cleansed us.
The testimony of Jesus is the Spirit of Prophecy. So when a Saint hears a Word from God & speaks it. That could be an initial calling in ones life. The world could tell them that God told them they weren't suppose to do it. But the person won't lose what God has said to them & keeps Gods Ramma Word spoken personally to them. Over what others say that contradict and cause doubt in Gods promise.

Very good answers so far ... yes, the testimony of Jesus the Christ is in the spirit of prophesy ...
Jesus was, is, and will be forever ... the essence of all 'truth'. He not only fulfilled his own words, but the words of prophesy within the Old Testament, bringing into existence the New Testament.

The testimony of Jesus is the compilation of His words that constitute God's wishes for humankind: Love your God, and love your neighbor as yourself. Jesus' testimony, in the case of Scripture is also what He did, to demonstrate and model the way we should live.

"I am thy fellow servant, and of thy brethren that have the testimony of Jesus;"
if this was one of the ministering spirits, he was a servant of the same Lord as John; and if he was a minister of the Gospel, he was still more literally a fellow servant of his, and of the apostles, and preachers of the Gospel; which is meant by the testimony of Jesus, that bearing testimony to the person, office, grace, obedience, sufferings, and death of Christ, and the glory following; and therefore being but a servant, and a servant in common with John and his brethren, was by no means to be worshipped; not the servant, but master; not the creature, but the Creator:
Hope this helps.

Wow. that's commonplace for the Atheist and the Agnostics to generalize while they arrive to Christians yet for somebody who could be a Christian to generalize isn't commonplace. Are you speaking out of conviction considering which you do no longer spend time with the savior. Are you one that doesn't have the time. Or are you one that has and feels all pious as a results of fact of it? you won't be able to assume that all and sundry Christians are the comparable as those you declare you recognize. possibly you're no longer around actual Christians. possibly you will desire to alter church homes and alter the individuals you carry around. i understand very committed people who get hold of God's word on a daily foundation. Who seek for to appreciate and do the will of God daily. Who compliment and serve Him from the becoming of the solar and the occurring of the comparable. i admire Oral Roberts and Kenneth Copeland for what they have executed with their lives and alter into very unhappy while Oral left this international. yet everybody has no longer been suggested as to do the comparable activity as them. And only as a results of fact they are no longer in front of the international does not advise they are no longer doing what God suggested as them to do or that that's any much less significant. You fall into an extremely massive catch once you assume you recognize what others are doing. And once you pick an entire community on the few people you recognize. And on your advice. i do no longer think Jesus exchange into God, i've got confidence he's God! Darrin there are adequate people obtainable downing Christians you will desire to no longer do the comparable. We would possibly no longer consider one yet another on each undertaking yet we would desire to consistently no longer undesirable mouth one yet another. Jesus prayed that we would desire to consistently be one on an identical time as He and the daddy are one. which will in no way take place as long as His toddlers communicate approximately one yet another as a results of fact we disagree on doctrine. They serve the comparable God and the comparable Jesus. that's as much as God to discipline and us to love.

Jesus answered, "It is written: 'Man does not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God.' "
i hope that helps!

Testimony of Jesus Christ , The Spirit of Prophesy ( that was prophesied to come )
Revelation 19: 7 - 10 Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to Him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and His wife hath made herself ready . and to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white : for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints. And he saith unto me, Write, Blessed are they which are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb. And he saith unto me, These are the true sayings of God. And I fell at his feet to worship him. And he said unto me, See thou do it not : I am thy fellow servant, and of thy brethren that have the TESTIMONY of Jesus : worship God : for the TESTIMONY of Jesus is the Spirit of prophecy ( THAT WAS PROPHESIED WAS TO COME ).
John 15 : 26 But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of Truth, which proceedeth from the Father, He shall TESTIFY of me.
Revelation 12 : 11 , 17 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their TESTIMONY; and they loved not their lives unto the death. And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the TESTIMONY of Jesus Christ.
I Corinthians 1 : 4 - 8 I thank my God always on your behalf, for the grace of God which is given you by Jesus Christ; That in every thing ye are enriched by Him, in all utterance, and all knowledge; Even as the TESTIMONY of Christ was confirmed in you : So that ye come behind in no gift ; waiting for the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ : Who shall also confirm you unto the end, that ye may be blameless in the day of our Lord Jesus Christ.
WHAT IS THE TESTIMONY OF JESUS CHRIST ?
Testimony : the statement or declaration of a witness or declaration under oath or affirmation.
Testify : To bear witness : give or afford evidence. To make a solemn declaration. To declare, profess, or acknowledge openly.
Jeremiah 31 : 31 - 33 Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel ( the one that wrestled and overcome ), and with the house of Judah : Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt, which my covenant they brake, although I was an husband unto them, saith the Lord : But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel ; After those days, saith the Lord, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts ; and will be their God, and they shall be my people.
Isaiah 28 : 9 - 12 Whom shall He teach knowledge ? and whom shall He make to understand doctrine ? them that are weaned from the milk, and drawn from the breasts. For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept ; line upon line, line upon line ; here a little, and there a little. For with stammering lips and another tongue will He speak to this people. To whom he said, This is the rest wherewith ye may cause the weary to rest ; and this is the refreshing : yet they would not hear.
Joel 2 : 28 , 29 And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out My Spirit upon all flesh ; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions : And also upon the servants and upon the handmaids in those days will I pour out my Spirit.
Zechariah 13 : 9 And I will bring the third part through the fire, and will refine them as silver is refined, and will try them as gold is tried : they shall call on My name, and I will hear them : I will say it is My people : and they shall say, The Lord is my God.
St Matthew 3 : 11 , 12 I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance : but He that cometh after me is mightier than I , whose shoes I am not worthy to bear : He shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost and with fire : Whose fan is in His hand, and He will thoroughly purge His floor, and gather His wheat into the garner ; but He will burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire.
Mark 16 15 - 18 And He said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved ; but he that believeth not shall be damned. And these signs shall follow them that believe ; In My name shall they cast out devils ; they shall speak with new tongues; They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them ; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.
Luke 24 : 49 And, behold, I send the promise of My Father upon you : but tarry ye in the city of Jerusalem until ye be endued with power from on high.
Acts 1 : 4 - 8 And being assembled together with them, commanded them that they should not depart from Jerusalem, but wait for the promise of the Father, which , saith he, ye have heard of Me. For John truly baptized with water ; but ye shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost not many days hence. When they therefore were come together, they asked of him saying, Lord wilt thou at this time restore again the kingdom to Israel ? And He said unto them, It is not for you to know the times or the seasons, which the Father hath put in His own power, but ye shall receive power after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you ; and ye shall be witnesses unto Me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.
Acts 2 : 1 - 4 And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting. And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them. And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.
Acts 2 : 38 , 39 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.
Acts 3 : 19 , 20 Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord ; and He shall send Jesus Christ, which before was preached unto you.
Acts 4 : 31 And when they had prayed, the place was shaken where they were assembled together ; and they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and they spake the Word of God with boldness.
Acts 5 " 29 - 32 Then Peter and the other apostles answered and said, We ought to obey God rather than men. The God of our fathers raised up Jesus, whom ye slew and hanged on a tree. Him hath God exalted with His right hand to be a Prince and a Saviour, for to give repentance to Israel, and forgiveness of sins. And we are His witnesses of these things; and so is also the Holy Ghost, whom God hath given to them that obey him.
Acts 10 : 44 - 46 While Peter yet spake these words, the Holy Ghost fell on all them which heard the Word. And they of the circumcision which believed were astonished, as many as came with Peter, because that on the Gentiles also was poured out the gift of the Holy Ghost, for they heard them speak with tongues, and magnify God.
Acts 15 : 8 - 11 And God, which knoweth the hearts, bare them witness ( testified ), giving them the Holy Ghost, even as He did unto us, and put no difference between us and them, purifying their hearts by faith. Now therefore why tempt ye God, to put a yoke upon the neck of the disciples, which neither our fathers nor we were able to bear ? But we believe that through the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ we shall be saved, even as they.
Acts 19 : 1 - 6 And it came to pass, that, while Apollos was at Corinth, Paul having passed through the upper coasts came to Ephesus : and finding certain disciples, he said unto them : Have ye received the Holy Ghost since ye believed ? And they said unto him, We have not so much as heard whether there be any Holy Ghost. And he said unto them, Unto what then were ye baptized ? And they said, Unto Johns baptism. Then said Paul, John verily baptized with the baptism of repentance, saying unto the people, that they should believe on Him which should come after him, that is, on Christ Jesus. When they heard this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus, and when Paul had laid his hands upon them, the Holy Ghost come on them ; and they spake with tongues, and prophesied.
Acts 13 : 38 - 41 Be it known unto you therefore men and brethren, that through this man is preached unto you the forgiveness of sins ; And by him all that believe are justified from all things, from which ye could not be justified by the law of Moses. Beware therefore, lest that come upon you, which is spoken of in the prophets; Behold ye despisers, and wonder, and perish : for I work a work in your days, a work which ye shall in no wise believe, though a man declare it unto you.
Mark 3 : 28 , 29 Verily I say unto you , All sins shall be forgiven unto the sons of men, and blasphemies wherewith soever they shall blaspheme ; But he that shall blaspheme against the Holy Ghost hath never forgiveness, but is in danger of eternal damnation.
The Love of God pleads with all men : Receive the Word with gladness, and search the scriptures , and earnestly contend for the faith that was once delivered unto the saints....
May the Lord of Glory open the spiritual eyes of the blind to all that read these Words.
