What are the best tires?
I drive a 2002 chevrolet suburban 1500. I am wanting the best tires that I can buy.
I live in central Arkansas. No snow or ice and I never go offroad. I am looking for a tire with excellent wet traction and long even wear.

The best, combination highway and all terrain tire is the Firestone Destination A/T ... go to
www.tirerack.com and look up any and all tires you want, get true consumer reports and performance results...you'll fine the Destination has overall better traction in all catagories than Michelin, and I'm a diehard Michelin man, until I found these tires... They are not as expensive and they ride very nice, I have them on my truck and my Liincoln Town Car... They ride very nice and do well off road also... whatever tires you order from them will be on your doorstep within 1 day in most cases...

Here are two good choices:
Michelin LTX M/S
Toyo Open Country H/T
Both are top of the line highway all-season tires with great mileage.

If you're doing mostly commuting, I'd suggest the Michelin LTX A/S. If you're towing, the Michelin LTX M/S, and if you're off-roading, the BF Goodrich All-Terrain T/A.
