Can SSRI Side effects be permanent?
I've just started taking Paroxetine for anxiety, I read that it can cause sexual dysfunction and I have found that I can't orgasm. Now I'm terrified that I'll never be able to again, even after I stop taking the medication. Does anyone know if this is likely/possible?

Don't worry, its not permanent.
I had this problem, when taking high doses of SSRI,then the dosage was lowered, and i was functioning well.
You may not lose the ability to orgasm, when on a high dosage.it just takes forever to reach that point!

In my opinion you'll back to normal if you stop those paroxetine drugs... yeah SSRI or selective 5ht1 reuptake inhibitor slowly reduce your sympathical response,,, and orgasme is one of it... and inhibitory usually only have tentative side effect...

I think that your anxiety is being caused by your anti-anxiety medication!
Maybe you should try exploring fetishism and kink.. you might just need a different stimulus to "vanilla"
