Obama accepts money from oil companies, lies in ad. What do you think about this?

Suprise suprise, Barrack "I am a liar, I mean the candidate of hope and change" Obama lied yet again, this time claiming that he doesn't take money from 'oil companies' true, nobody does, its illegal, however he took more than 200,000 dollars worth of funds from Oil employees, which is the way big companies get around these rules, anybody that knows anything about politics knows this. He also took tens of thousands of dollars from Oil Execs. Therefore, if you hate Bush because you feel he will be under the influence of Big Oil, you would have to feel the same about Obama. What do you think of this latest lie, or bending of the truth that Obama has been caught in? I think he's a compulsibe liar, I really do.

Update 2:

Obviously you guys need to be explained the basics of fundraising, the company usually forces their employee's to donate to a campaign and then pays them a little bit extra, or threatens them with their job. Also, you completely ignore the fact that Execs gave money, thats as good as taking money from the company. This is the same thing everybody was attacking Bush for in his election, taking money from the employee's of Oil companies.

So I guess you're saying citizens who work at oil companies should not financially support a candidate? I think your logic/questions is flawed, but here's my answer anyway:

Obama doesn't take money from oil companies.

its funny that the lib apologists say "its not corporations its individuals." It is literally true that Obama doesn't take money from oil companies. No federal candidate does -- corporations have been banned from direct contributions since 1907. So their argument is invalid and vapid.

We must all remember that money comes to the candidates from all kinds of sources, including unions and manufacturing. He is no different than the others running for the job.

sad part is, all talk about change and the President, without Congress, cannot change a thing. They can only sign things into law, or veto things. The liberals will be quick with a democrat controlled Congress to raise our taxes.

All of us might have to get on welfare to live at this rate.

Both Bush and Obama are dirty politicians who are willing to do anything in order to get elected. This makes me embarrassed to be an American. I am proud of the people fighting for Tibet, and helping less fortunate people around the world -- but candidates who do anything for power are just pathetic. What happened to the REAL American way? Dirty politics is simply appalling.

Excellent question. I think he is a liar. He will say anything to get himself elected. He is the scariest nominee we have ever had for president. We do not know where he really stands or what he will do.

Well, I donated to his campaign and I work for a bank. Does it mean he took money from my bank? Don't think so. Employees donate money from their salaries and don't expense it to the company. Taking money from a company employee is by far not the same as taking money from a company.

EDIT: Do you have any proof that those employees have been forced and have been payed back by the companies? Don't think so. So please learn to separate facts from your own imagination.

He has been asked by local democrats to remove the ads, (specifically no lobbying) they feel he is misleading the public.
