36 weeks pregnant... few questions!!?
I am now 36 weeks pregnant and it seems like everything is starting to come at me so fast now! To even think that MY baby will be in the world in about a month is insane! I've started worrying about disabilities and that a lot lately... I've had yeast infections/bacterial infections nearly the whole time I've been pregnant. I've had a stressful pregnancy. Deaths in the family, boyfriend going to jail, fighting from so much frustration, being in debt, the list goes on and on and on... Does any of this change my chances of having a baby with any type of disability??? The baby seems to be about the right size and healthy but I'm still worried......... Ease my mind!?!?......

Babies are very resilient. Do your best to get away from the stress for the sake of your baby... especially the jail part. The baby does not need that kind of drama.

I worried that my baby too would have some sort of disability. I also have a few of those issues going on in my life. The only way your baby would have a disability.. is if there was some genetic malfunction in the early weeks of development. And when you give birth.. if the baby lacks in oxygen.. problems then can occur as well.. but your doctor will make sure that, that won't happen..
As for the stress.. that can effect the baby.. My doctor told me that it can mess with the emotional part of your baby. SO stay relax.. if you have someone that you can have stay with you while your boyfriend is in jail (if you live with him) that might help too. Try not to worry about everything, you can't really changing anything right now anyways..
As for the infections.. perfectly normal to have yeast infections and bacterial infections.. just make sure you get the right medication for them. Always tell your doctor what is going on.. they can perscribe or suggest something for you to take.
I am SOOOOO sorry that you are going through of these things ..especially right now... I really wish the best for you and i will pray for your situation to get better...My heart goes out to you.. Please just take time for yourself.. and relax.. the baby feels the stress too.. so make it a priority to release your mind of all of the crap thats filling it..Again.. i wish the best for you..and i hope this helps.. The Doctors said that your baby is healthy.. just keep it that way. ; ) By the way.. what are you having? Have you picked a name yet??

No, none of those things raise your baby's risk for disability and since you are at 36wks, you're no longer really at risk for a pre-term labor. That last month a lot of things tend to run through your mind because you're body AND your mind are getting prepped to have a baby and become a responsible adult. I hope that you have had enough time to resolve the boyfriend in jail & fighting issues before you bring in another life. You don't want your baby's first day being one of unhappiness. Best of luck to you!

none of that changes your chances of having a baby with a disability... if the doctor says the baby is healthy, it is healthy.. i got worried like that when i was pregnant too.. my baby is almost 6 months old and hasn't had one problem thank god. my moms water broke for my little brother at 21 weeks.. she had him at 27 weeks... and now he's 12 years old and almost 6 feet tall.... you have nothing to worry about.

Stop worrying so much. At lot of people have had far more stress than you, and gone on to have perfectly healthy babies. I understand your concern, but worrying never helped. Good luck, and keep praying, everything will be fine.

Wow, sometimes there are contractions sometimes there are none but when the water bag breaks you would feel a hot fluid coming out like urine but when you go to the patty the urine will not come out but if you stand up the water is free flowing. Then you will feel cold and your hands and knees would start to shake. If this happen to you, go to the hospital as soon as possible, it is time. But don't waste much time because if the amniotic fluid is very low, your baby will loose oxygen inside your womb and a if he survive he might suffer from cerebral palsy. I am not scaring you but that happen to me. Good luck.

Think about all the things that mothers did to their bodies before they knew it was bad for the babies. While pregnant, women used to smoke, drink, perform hazardous jobs, not get proper nutrition, not get medical attention and people turned out ok. I think your baby will be fine!

No, just becausde you're having problems throughh the preganacy dosen't mean that your baby will come out with a disibility, and it would help to stop stressing because that can kill your baby GUD LOOK

Stress will not cause a disability, I asked my doctor. It just causes preterm labor if anything whh you have now avoided. Good luck with the remainder of your pregnancy and your labor and delivery!!

honestly, all those could effect the baby esp the infection, but as long as you have dealt with them with the doc you should be fine.
if i were you i would just try to relax. turn off the phone, take a bath and just relax and save your energy. you are gonna need it!
