Progressive and Geico are typically good if you are a high risk driver. Meaning lots of tickets and/or accidents. They charge more premium since they don't have that strict qualifications for their clients.
Allstate, State Farm, Erie, and Traveler's typically do not carry high risk drivers.
My best piece of advise.... call around to different companies for quotes. Make sure that each company is quoting you for the same coverages (because different coverages can make a HUGE difference in premium!!) another thing you may want to consider.... geico is an online or over the phone company. Would you rather be able to go to an office, sit down and talk to someone face to face.... or are you ok with dealing with diff people every time you call on the phone, by mail or Internet? these are questions only you can answer!

Well do you want good insurance or cheap insurance? If you go with companies that Joe U listed and get into an accident you don't have that great of coverage. Look for a 300/100 policy. I personally have American Family ins. drive a 04 and have one ticket and pay about $60 a month for female and my husband has a 97 truck with 2 tickets and an at fault accident and his is $56 a month so just do a price comparison with some one close to you home maybe and see if they are cheaper then allstate? Good luck

Allstate and StateFarm are two of the worst auto insurance companies there are. Many many consumer complaints have been made on both of these companies.
Try Geico, Progressive, Esurance, etc. Even your local independent agent might be able to switch you to a more reasonable insurance policy.

Another company to try if you are looking strictly at larger established companies would be Nationwide. You can quote your policy on their website.
I've had good experience with them.
