Flower Preserving HELP:

I was wondering what the best way to preserve flowers is. I just got married this weekend and would like to keep my bouquet of flowers.

What is the best way?!?!?

Update:

Or What is the best way to dry them?!

It depends on how big your bouquet is. There are companies that do boquet preservation. If the bouquet isn't large, you can buy dehydrating pellets/crystals that are made for drying flowers, put them in a larg pan/pot and immerse your bouquet in it. You'll want to keep an eye on it to make sure that the dehydrant is in contact with each individual flower. Another thing you can do is take some of the flowers out of our bouquet and dry them then arrange them in a vase and keep them displayed on the dining room table or in the living room.

If you are interested in checking out the companies, google flower preservation or wedding bouquet preservation. They send you a box, you put your bouquet in it and then mail it to them overnight, postage is paid for. When it's ready, they return it to you. You have a choice of the size of display case you want, the frame for it, etc.

my boss puts flowers in a bucket of water and put a tiny bit of bleach in the bucket, this kills germs and keeps the water clean. ..im not sure if he uses a special type though! but flower food etc... doesn't work.

I hung my bouquet upside down until it was completely dry. Its still in tact and in a vase, although I am afraid it will get dirty.

You put them in the refridgerator. Thats the best way. My mom did that b4 her wedding and they were just as beautiful as when we got them.
