What are the determinants of inconsistent thoughts?

Inconsistency of thoughts stem from imperfection of some kind. It may lie in repudiation of norms and values, regrets, poor training, intrinsic inability to come up with ideas that push you forward.It also depends on poor vision and a complacency engendered in early life.
