While playing COD4 on my PS3, my "connection was lost", or more oftenly, "server timed out".

This happens at least every 10 to 15 mintues, if not sooner than that. I dont think since i have bought it and played it when it came out have i ever finished more than 1 1/2 matchs before it kicks me off. But, when I am playing, i check my connection and i have either 3 or 4 bars green. Can anyone help?

It's probably your net connection, if it isn't that, you have some really bad luck. "Server time out" or "connection losses" generally occur when the host disconnects or quits the game. However, I doubt that that's the case. Try booting up the game again and constantly check your connection speed or check for symptoms of lag:

    1) When standing still, you find yourself jerking across the ground at a breakneck pace.

    2) Your shots aren't hitting the enemy even when the gun is pointed at them.

    3) There is a slight delay between when your gun fires and when it hits the enemy.

Your connection may work fine initially but probably just loses it's speed after playing for a while. Maybe somebody is simoultaneosly using the internet while you're playing. If you share the same line with your say...family, they're connection may be interfering with your connection Other than that, I don't really know what to tell you but hope for the best.
