What Are Your Theories About Tobi?

whoa!! do you have any idea how long it took me to read that?! xD lol! you sure think a lot!! but your theory was actually pretty interesting! and i think your is most likely (too bad you can't give yourself 10 points! lol)

k anyways this is what i was thinking (it kind of matches yours for some reason):

Tobi is Madara in Obito's body (i agree with you!) because there's no way someone could have just one sharingan eye unless the other was taken out by someone (kakashi) so that pretty much shows that Madara must've posessed Obito's body somehow (like how orochimaru has a body transfer jutsu) before Obito died. Itachi was the one who killed the Uchiha Clan but Madara was secretly helping Itachi behind the scenes without Itachi realizing until afterwards. I think Itachi had this planned from the beginning. He had 2 ideas: 1) He would kill Sasuke when he was older and take his eyes to help him defeat Madara or 2) Sasuke would kill him and Itachi would give Sasuke all of his powers to help Sasuke defeat Madara. So, basically, it's a winner-gets-all scenario (where the outcome of itachi and sasuke's match determines who gets the chance to defeat Madara). So, yeah..I think Itachi had that future battle with Sasuke planned already while he was killing the Uchiha Clan. So I think he wanted Sasuke to hate him so Sasuke would try as hard as he could to become strong and the battle with Itachi was just a test for Sasuke to see if Sasuke was able to take on Madara. And, I agree with you when you said that Itachi couldn't tell Sasuke the truth or else Sasuke wouldn't hate him enough to become powerful and now Sasuke only has to defeat Madara. I think your theory is better though ^^ my theory is mostly about Itachi since we don't know that much about Tobi yet

I'm pretty sure it's Madara, but I have no idea bout possesing Obito's body and stuff. I loved your theory, though. I have similar thoughts - that Itachi wasn't as blame-able for the Uchiha clan slaughter as Madara was, but he kept the truth from Sasuke, so that he would grow up all hating Itachi and gaining power beyond Itachi's limits, so that when Itachi will die, Sasuke could gain Itachi's eye power. Or something like that. I think Itachi wanted Sasuke to defeat Madara, cause he knew that Sasuke was way stronger and cooler than Itachi was, from the beginning, so he kinda sorta sacrificed himself. I don't think Itachi had anything worth living other than the idea of passing his powers to Sasuke! Hope this makes sense. :)

Tobi is Madara. There is probably a next generation of the MS that he found out about and wants Sasuke's eyes to get it. He plans to use Sasuke for a while kind of like Orochimaru and take his eyes and gain a new generation of MS.

Your theory seems quite likely too.

I also have a theory about Itachi. The Uchiha clan because of Madara was planning an a attack on Konohagakaru. There were two sides, one good and one bad. The bad ones wanted to attack the village of Konoha. The good side was Itachi's family. They probably fought to stop the evil Uchihas. Then one of the evil one killed Itachi's parents. As he walked in Sasuke also walked in (since Sasuke was little he didn't fight with them of course). Little Sasuke did not know better and thought Itachi did this masacre. Since Itachi was such a genius he knew this would happen so he had to make his brother strong. He had to sacrfice his life to protect everyone. Especially his little brother.

Also when he and Kisame went to find Naruto in the hotel he probably went to make sure Kisame did not get Naruto. Itachi probably also told Sasuke he had to kill his friend to get MS because he knew Sasuke and Naruto's bond was much stronger than his and his closest friend.

tobi IS uchiha madara, and he's as old as he's supposed to be, i don't think he's in obito's body, although i still want to figure out what's with his mask, maybe he only took one eye out of his brother for pernament Mangekyou instead of two.

I like to believe although Itachi was trained by Madara, Itachi learned things behind his back ("i know all about him, yet he keeps suprising me")

Now that you mention killing the rest of the clan, you have a good point, although having pernament mangekyou has to be taken from a sibling, if i do believe. Unless you translate it to taken from clan members.... plus i don't think the whole uchiha clan were ninjas (aka: sasuke's uncle and aunt, maybe)

Although Itachi told Sasuke that he wasn't worthy enough to kill, later on Madara said that Itachi might have transfered (sp) all his eye powers to Sasuke out of protection.

There either will be a fight between Uchiha Sasuke and Uchiha Madara, or Madara will train Sasuke to become even stronger, possibly the strongest ninja his age, if not better.

That is a very detailed theory.

Though I must ruin it by saying that we have to wait until the newest chapter to be released and then see who Tobi really is and how he will explain himself.

Still, I love your theory. I would've never thought of that.
